OK, I know this is kind of a weird question, but does anyone know any websites where you can find different hairstyles, preferably with pictures? My sister is getting married in less than a month and I really need to figure out what I want to do. I tried just typing hairstyles in search and what I mainly got was salon websites.

*My hair is fine, stick-straight, and shoulder length, which I am going to wear up, if anyone has "verbal" suggestions.

I know this is a weird question, but it doesn't hurt to ask, right?

 Please help. :( Any suggestions appreciated.

coudnt find any web sites but here are a few picks to look at

I don't have any ideas, I'm sorry. My girls' hair is/was stick straight and I could never do anything that would stay very long with it.

Do you want to change the texture and make it curly, wavy, or just have style without that?

Smileybrat,
You are in the Dis Yearbook! ;)
Your picture is on page 59.
Good luck with the hairstyle and have fun at your sister's wedding!

Dis Yearbook? where's that? I thought it might be the show your face post on the community board but it only has 33 pages.

BTW: My hair doesn't hold curls or waves so it has to be a style that takes that into consideration. Thanks for all the suggestions so far. :)

Here's a thought... I have very long thick & silky hair that doesn't hold curls unless it wants to hold them (and then they have to be my own natural curls :p) but one style that I always can get to stay is one I've done for years and just vary it a little.

I start off with a medium low ponytail (not high but not at nape of neck either). I then section my hair off into 4-15 (or more) and then I will either braid the small sections or I will twist them around and around until they start 'curling' up on each other (If I twist I use much smaller sections). I then wrap them all around each other or weave them around until I get all my hair up. I secure each piece with hair pins and then a bobby pin at the end. Braids are the easiest to do but if someone is doing your hair, maybe they can do the twists. Before pulling back in a ponytail you can tease the front part to give more height or maybe french twist the sides. I have had great sucess with it staying (especially if I do it slightly damp) and get many compliments on it.

Here's a picture of my last time (done in braids) I did this. It was for my sister's wedding. Please ignore the frizzies... it was raining hard earlier and my hair got pretty wet. It looked much better earlier that day ;)

Good luck with whatever you decide to do :)

Cool hairstyle helenabear. Don't think my hairs long enough to do that though. Thanks for the suggestion of it holding better when it's done damp.
