hair question

Hey,

Got a question for you guys. I got my hair cut in a shoter cut. Have dark brown hair and got lighter streaks in it now through out. Used color stuff. Anyways everyone says I should try "gelling it" So what exactly do they mean to do when geling it. i am a idiot. Yea I know you use gel. haha
