Hair question for DCL brides

Hi Ladies,

We haven't officially booked our DCL Vow Renewal yet because we are looking at 2011 (10th anniversary) but have started informally planning. My DH leaves for Iraq in the fall, I will be booking everything while he is gone so I wanted his imput now.

I am ok with not a great deal of choices, that is why I picked the cruise simple and easy. I am wondering about hair at the spa. Can they do anything or is it limited too?

Also why did you choose your location? My DH likes the beach idea, I was leaning towards on board.

I got married on the beach....It was PERFECT!

As for the hair, they will do it in the spa and the wedding planner will make the appointment for you if you want that. I did my own hair, I couldn't see spending that money to have it done when I knew I would be swimming in a few hours...LOL

I think that I am going to go for simple do it myself hair as well. It's probably going to be windy - so something pulled back and simple. I made a tiara to go with my dress. - see my pj - but I think that I will wear it for our MK pictures, and put a flower in my hair for the ceremony on the ship.

there's no way i could do my own hair! I can't make a ponytail look straight! besides, i'm sure it will be windy, i'd want it professionally done. I know they can handle updo's just fine! so i think i'm ok with my half-up do idea.

We also choose the beach! The sun, sand, and surf is just the perfect idea for what we wanted! It fits us perfectly.

I did my own hair because my hair tends to look like a helmet when someone new does it

I went to the mall and bought one of those combs with the hair attached..I pulled all my hair back in a half pony and wrapped the comb piece around it and attached the veil
It stayed out of my eyes and face and didn't take very much to style

I wish I could do my own hair!!! I was thinking up but simple, just so it wasn't in my face.

I think we are leaning towards the beach.....I know it will go by fast but I can't wait to have it offical and booked.

I will start a PJ when I am offically booked that way I only have a year of driving everyone crazy with questions. LOL!!!!
