My daughter had read my latest posting about the flip flops and she would like to get some people's opinions about a question she has. She says she has thick curly hair and is afraid of ending up with afro hair on the cruise. She would like to know what hair products or type of hair style she could use on the cruise to prevent her from looking like she traveled back to the 70's. She also would like to comment that she will be bringing her strappy sequined sandels on the non-formal nights as well. :D

there are many "frizz free" haircare products available out there and they will help -typically they have silicone in the ingredients which cuts back a lot on frizz. I have very fine hair that hates humidity. For the best "photo" hair, my best tip is to shower, do your hair and then STAY inside until photo ops are done. This is very easy to do and once your pics are finished she won't care as much.

Going out on deck in the evenings (especially when you're hauling to get to the next port) makes your hair crazy so just be prepared - it's definitely the "wind blown" look LOL

frizz-ease hair serum is absolutly wonderful. I have red frizzy, dry, wavy hair. and it does wonders! It's available at walmart and many other stores. It protects against the humidity, which is what affects my hair the most.

How about the corn rows then she would not have to worry about her hair at all. She may even be able to have it done at a salon in your hometown before you leave. Remember to use sunblock on the parts if she has it done. Have fun:crazy:
