Hair? One for the girlies!

I suggest the ouidad line, its not that expensive, and it does wonders.(www.ouidad.com) If you are anywhere near a salon that does the ouidad cuts, I highly HIGHLY recomend it. Its expensive (around 100 for the cut) But they take their time, cut with teh curl, each and every one, so that the curls are less frizzy, and fall into one another perfectly like a puzzle. it was definatly my godsend for my thick curly hair.

I used to hate it too, but I grew up, learned how to take care of it, and now think its what really seperates me from all the straight haired chicas! And,its sexy to boot

I just put my hair in a big "knot" on top of my head.... :rotfl:.....it helps with the frizzies AND the heat....

I have very thick, wavy, coarse hair that gets really frizzy in humid weather. I had my hair Thermal Reconditioned (Japanese Hair Straightened) in March and I LOVE it!! It was worth every penny!! I just returned from WDW a few weeks ago. It was very humid and my hair did not frizz at all! It actually felt softer and smoother and looked shinier than it does here in NJ. However, if you are considering getting TR done, be sure to find an experienced stylist that uses the brand Liscio. :goodvibes

I used to have very thick, waist-length hair (until my mom forced me to cut it :() and I used GarnierFructis shampoo, which is very good. Also, it definitely helps to braid your hair (not just a ponytail.)

I never straighten my hair. I actually like the curls - DH says they are sexy.
I use Joigel by Joico. It's a medium hold in a large tube and it smells like grapes.
It holds well w/o feeling sticky. I always bring a scrunchy just in case my hair looks wacky, and put it in a very high pony tail.

WoW...sounds just like me!
I have crazy curly hair (ringlets) and LOVE JoiGel!
Hats are good too! My hair hangs out the back of a 'ball cap'.
Can't make it straight....takes too long...and frizzy!

I have ringlet curly hair too. I use frizz-ease hair serum that you put in your hair right after showering. For touch ups I use a Physique hair product that comes in a little can, its almost like car wax, works great.
If you are going to spend all that time straightening your hair, I have found that Str8 by Rusk works great in the heat and humidity.

Another vote for Infusium 23. You can get the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in treatment for frizzy hair and it is WONDERFUL!!! Pretty cheap, too. I get mine at Walmart for about $4.00 each. "It has totally restructured my hair!!!"
