What are your suggestions for people to do hair and makeup? I really want someone to come to my room. Is there any one that is really good or really bad? Thanks!

HI! I am using Ana from Beaute Special for makeup. I am a hairdresser and so is one of the other girls in my wedding so we are going to be doing the hair.

I just booked Carolyn Allens to steam our dresses and she highly recommended Beaute Special.

I highly recommend Anna from Makeover Majic. She came to my room at 6:30 and did my hair and makeup by 7. She was great!

We used Lisa from lisasmagicalweddings.com, she was supposed to come to our room ( we were at the GF, but she goes to all of the hotels) at 5:30 in the morning, she was actually a little earlier then that because we were just getting out of our beds when she was knocking! She was early, professinal, and really wonderful! Her prices were great! She also bought a make up stylists with her, so with one phone call she took care of hair and makeup! She was pleasant and just amazing! I didnt have long hair, it was probably just right above my shoulder and she did it so great! I'll second the recommendation for Lisa at Lisa's Magical Weddings. She recently did my hair and make up for my vow renewal, and I was very pleased with both.

My hair isn't very long (an up-do wasn't an option) so I brought several photos of my usual style which Lisa recreated--with a bit more oomph! I'd strongle suggest you have photos to show exactly what you're envisioning, no matter what hair length or style you're going for.

As for make-up, not only did I love what Lisa did for the ceremony, but I found a new, favorite mascara. I tend not to wear mascara as if flakes and bothers my eyes, but LOVED the one Lisa used.
