Hair dryers, irons & boards question at OKW

Hi,

I was reading another board about the amenities at OKW Studio.

It said that hair dryers, irons and ironing boards were only available by request.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

When we have stayed at other deluxe and moderate resorts, hair dryers and irons are included in the room.

they are in the room - the hair dryer is in the bathroom.

the iron & board is in the closet with a pack n' play.

That's odd. I thought these were available at all DVC Villas. We had these in our studios at SSR and BWV. I cannot imagine why they wouldn't at OKW.

They ARE available! As Spicey said, all OKW bathrooms have hairdryers in them, and the iron and ironing board will be in the laundry room of the 1,2,or 3 bedroom units, and in the closet of the studios. If by chance you find yours missing, call housekeeping for one. Since the studios are lock offs from 2 bedroom units, sometimes the ironing board gets missplaced from the studio portion.

I seem to remember a smaller, tabletop ironing board in OKW studios? Does anyone else remember that? I know I've seen the iron and hair dryer. I just didn't remember a full sized ironing board.

We were just at OKW in January and we had a small tabletop ironing board. It was stored in the closet as previously mentioned.

I'm currently staying in a 1 BR at OKW and there is an iron, a full-size ironing board and a hairdryer in our villa.

I think it is only the studios with a tabletop ironing board. I remember seeing the ironing board in the laundry room behind the door when we were there earlier this month.
