Hair dresser & makup person!

We are coming over from the UK for our wedding in May at the WL. We are staying at the AKL and wondered if anyone has any details of any hairdressers and makeup people that can do my fiancées hair on for the wedding?

There will just be the two of us and hopefully we will be having an early wedding or at least a morning one so may be an early start.

Hi Mike-

I would highly recommend Anna with Makeover Majic to your fiancee's hair and make-up the day of the wedding. If you have already gotten your hair cut before making the trans-Atlantic trip, then I am sure Anna would be willing to run gel through and make you pretty, too

However, if you are looking for a barber to cut your hair, you will probably want to look at the spa at the Mandara Spa (I can't remember if it's Swan or Dolphin), the Ivy Trellis at the GF, or the ____ at the Yacht/Beach Club. There is a barber at the MK, but if your wedding is early, it may not work out. Additionally, you cannot make appointments for the MK.

Your best bet is to have your hair cut about 7-10 days before the wedding and then have someone clean up around the ears and neck the day of the wedding for you. It helps with pictures and the itch factor.

I am getting married in May and I am going to get my hair and makeup done here. It's not too expensive, but you have to go there to get it done.

I think she is having her hair dine before we fly so it is just a tidy and makeup job i think.
