Wow, for someone who has been a few times I sure have alot of questions.

I have read about hair cuts at MK, they they just style hair or do anything special, we won't need cuts but my daughter and I would like to have something done....also where is it, I don't remember seeing it.

They will put pixie dust in your hair also paint a mickey in the back. I am a 46 yo male and i get mine done every time we go. The paint washes out when you wash your hair. ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

Here's a pic of DS4 when we had it done just before MVMCP. DD6 also had her her puffed up and had purple hair gel and confetti. They loved it. NOt so much fun washing out though.

DH always gets his hair cut at Disney.

We want to get DS's first hair cut there. We are hopping he has enough in April, but it is not looking good. We may need to wait until the next trip...Ha!

My little baldy boy. He is almost 18 months old & still has very little hair.

My kids loved theres last month...they got huge amounts of attention from other people and all the CM's....see picture below

Kid's haircut is $14 and adult is $17
They're open 9-5 everyday and take no appointments - so come early or be prepared to wait as there are only 2 barbers working.

My kids get them done everytime we go. It's the highlight of their trip.

BTW, Michal said they don't have the glow in the dark gel anymore.

If your kid likes to glow, the barbers have a glow in Blacklight gel.

We are going also - 1st haircuts are the best - get certificate, mickey ear hat that says 1st hair cut......and Our son will be getting his 3rd haircut - Maura is the one that has done ours for the last 3 years..........
She is very good with shy young ones.. does bubbles, stickers, etc to keep them occupied and to get use to her before she takes those dreaded scissors out. PS we always feel like it is a place to tip --- they are all great and his first haircut the quartet barbershop was in there singing and we got a finished pic with them with big scissors. - :cool1:

Didn't see this part answered - It is on the Left side of the first part of Main Street. As you enter from under the train station on the Left, look straight ahead and it will be right in front of you - next to the Emporium - at the end -close to the Fire Station. Hope that helps and is not tooooo confusing.

DD now 17 months old has to have her hair in pig tailes. so it not in her eyes. But we wanted to wait for MK for her first 21 days till she can see again. haha :earboy2: princess: :cutie:

Its at the very left as the entrance rounds back to Main street there is a big wooden gate where the parade exits and the Barbar Shop Pole is right there....You kinda have to look for it to find it....

Does anyone have pictures of a girls haircut with gel?

This was in December.

We waited in line to get our sons' haircuts in December. I was getting really worried about how long it was going to take. There were two little girls in front of us, but two double strollers  . We got the impression that "the rest of the families" were riding rides until the barber shop opened. (it was an ee morning). The moms had walkie talkies and let the boys know when the girls were almost finished and it was their turn. The Daddies and boys showed up just in time and got their haircuts. I was a little worried about the time, but all in all, it worked out fine. Maura and Michal were both cutting. They each did two haircuts in 25 minutes. I was surprised when I looked at the time on the camcorder. We did wait an hour until they opened, but once they got started they were quite efficient. Just wanted to give you all an idea about wait times. (4 people in line = 30 minutes) (Also be aware of empty strollers, they may equal several haircuts) :earboy2: I feel that it was well worth the time we waited for the first haircut and for my older son's cut. He wants to return.

My DD will be 8 months during our next trip and has plenty of hair for a "First Haircut" (but obviously no need for pixie dust and glitter). Would you say that this is too young for a first haircut (I'd be holding her on my lap probably)?

I'm thinking even if they only cut a tiny bit, we can get the certificate and the memories--what we really want--but if the wait is long that could be a problem.

Has anyone ever taken a young baby? Is it crazy, or does it just not happen very often b/c there's not enough hair?

This will give you an idea of how much hair she has; and this was a month ago!!!

We had our boys hair done last time we were down. They had a blast!!

Meredith's mom - we had our baby's first haircut done there when he was 11 mo. The barber was wonderful! He didn't have tons of hair, and we were mostly doing it for memories as well. They cut just enough, and it will be a neat thing to tell him when he's older. They didn't use and gel on his hair, btw.
