Hair Chewing

Oh No  That sounds horrible.
Do you mind if I ask how they figured it out?

Where do you get this apple spray?

She was at a regular asthma check-up and the dr was prodding her stomach and found a lump. We were terrified at the time. We went to our regular dr and DD had a CAT scan, which in hindsight was pretty funny (cat scan for a hairball). DH and I were on the internet all night trying to figure out what it could be. We never came up with a hairball. We were pretty relieved when that was the diagnosis. This is also the girl that wanted to be a Cat when she grew up according to her "all about me" sheet she did in kindergarten. I was talking to a Dr friend who we didn't know at the time and we were talking about weird medical conditions. He was saying that they had a patient in their clinic with a hairball once. I just laughed and said, yup, that would be us!

Oh, the bitter apple spray you can find at any pet store or even Walmart in the pet section.

My DD went from hair twirling to hair chewing too! She outgrew some of her shyness by the time 1st grade rolled around, and I guess she just dropped her nervous habit as well.
