Hair braids......????

My 7 year old got one in the park on sat 3/20.....near the Pirates ride the same ones you see every where down there...and 10 minutes later and $30 gone......how long do tehy stay In????? they said 2 weeks to 3 months....how long have your childrens stayed in and do they get scarey looking fast???

My DD had a hair wrap that stayed in a little more than a month.

I have had it stay in for 6 weeks. Was quite shocked when the hair that was in it fell out also. Kind of a no brainer, I don't know what I was thinking. Never got ratty looking.

DD's have each lasted about 3 months. Never got ratty looking either. Since it is such a tiny piece of hair, and she had hers done behind her ear each time, we cut them off and she has a souvenir to hang on her bulletin board. She will probably get another this week. She avoids white thread-not sure if it would get dirty looking.

Are you talking about hair braids or wraps? My daughter has had wraps, with embroidery floss, done at BB and the resort pool before, but I have never seen actual braids being done at WDW before. She would like to have braids done, tonight at soccer some girls had braids for their Caribbean March Break trips. Is their braiding at Disney?

Oh yeah, her wraps lasted a good couple of months.

My daughter's lasted 7 weeks. Probably could have lasted longer but she was getting pictures done at school and I wanted it out. It wasn't all that easy to take out like the lady said. Just be careful when you remove it. It frays the hair.

My daughter had hers done at the BC salon (Periwig). It took about 20 minutes and was a half head for $45.00. She had her braids done in colored rubberbands without beads b/c she plays sports. They are cute and lots of people stopped us at the parks and asked where we had them done. I thought it was a better deal than the hair wrap, which is about $30. I think the GF and POLY have the same salon.

Hi,
I had a braid put in it when i was there for Christmas it probbly stayed in my hair about three weeks until i was tired of it.....They are really hard to get out of your hair I had my sister take it out and she almost had to cut it off......The string is so tight you just can't unwrap it, i won't do that again.....
