hair braiding

We're back next week for our $99! When we sailed the Magic last winter, they had just begun hair braiding on board. Do they also offer this on the Wonder? If so, how much should I expect to pay for a full head?

No, onboard hair braiding is only offered on the Magic at this time.

Ok, so from what i am understanding you said that Hair Braiding IS offered ONBOARD on the MAGIC???

My DD's and friends will be very excited if this is true... they won't have to take up CC time to have this done...

Do you know details? Appointments?? Times??? etc...

Yes it is offered of the Magic for $2.00 per braid. You will need to make reservations and do it early. They were completely booked on sea days.

We just got off the Wonder (10/10-10/13) and they had hair braiding on board also. I walked by the woman doing hair by the Goofy pool. She had a sign that said that all the hair braiding reservations were booked for the cruise so I think they book up pretty quickly.

Don't know if it is new to the Wonder but they definately had it on our cruise last week.

Yes, it is definitely on the Wonder 4 day cruise!

I was surprised as I just walked by the Goofy pool and there they were. The women said it was offered only on Freeport & Nassau day. You could do standby or book an appointment for later. There were 2 braiders and we had no problem getting our choice of appointment times. I was thrilled as I had heard it was only on the Magic as well.
They have photos with different styles you can choose. $2 for cornrows. $2.50 for cornrows braided to the end of the hair. My DD got the headband style and it was 13 braids for a total of $26 dollars. I tipped on top of that.

Now, here's the deal of the day: I heard one little girl's mom asking the braiders if they would do her hair(meaning the mom's) in a french braid and what would the charge be..........$3...yes, $3 for a very, very nice french braid that would stay in for the rest of the cruise. I saw this woman later in the day along with a friend of her's who had also gotten the french braid and they were thrilled, said it took less than 5 minutes and was a real bargain at $3.
