My daughter is wanting to get her hair braided on the cruise.Could you please give me any info on this. Where to go or can you reserve a time before you get on board. We are only 50 days away from our first disney cruise. Thank you

You can reserve this when you get on board. The hair braiding I saw was done on Deck 9 and also CC.

The braiding is expensive I think. Like $2 per corn row. And it takes a long, long time.

For my 8 and 6 yera old full head cornrows, it was around $60 per child.

On our first cruise I missed the sign ups because I didn't know anything about them. After studying the navigators on castawayclub(dot)com I have noticed that there are haribraiding reservations taken the first evening you board. I think it said something like 5:30 - 6:30 at Preludes. I am not going to miss it this year!! HTH

Does anyone have any pictures of their daughter's with their hair in braids or cornrows? I'd love to be able to show them to my 2 DDs and find out if they are interested.
Thanks!

Is there anywhere to get hairwraps? DD wants the braids and we've had them before but DGD could never sit through the discomfort of it. We're thinking a hairwrap so she won't be left out....

Thanks
Jenn

if you book hair braid late in the night she may fall asleep I saw 2-3 year olds sleeping well it was done they were so cute the girls that do it are very gentle if she is tired haveing her hair done will surely put her to sleep and when she wakes up she will be surprised ssandra

on our cruises, when we have come in a day early and stayed at a disney resort, I have the braids done there. Last time we stayed at the Animal Kingdom and they sent us over to the Coronado Springs (which is awesome, BTW) and it took the lady 1 hour to do my daughter's long hair and cost $90. It might be more expensive, but it didn't take any of our cruise time and she was MUCH MORE GENTLE than the gals on Castaway Cay or the other islands where I saw little girls crying from all the pulling. (I don't know about how much it hurts on ship.)

:flower: Just a different idea if you want to spent your time on ship doing other things.
