Hair Braiding and Groceries...

Help... We leave tomorrow morning, and I need to find out two things. First, where can I get my hair braided. I know the resorts have the wraps, but I want it braided. I know Nick Hotel Suites has it, but we are not going there until our last two days. Any suggestions anyone? Anyplace on Disney grounds, or even Universal, or close around the resorts? I would like to get it done in the first two days. Second question, where is a good grocery store to stop at between the airport and our hotel, POFQ. Some place to pick up bottled water, etc?? For some reason, I think that Carribean Beach resort has a hair wrap station, along with All Star Music, and Blizzard Beach.

Yes, many of the resorts have hair wrap stations near the pool areas, but
I've never seen anyone offering to do hair braids.

As far as I know, they only wrap, not braid.

Yes, a few have a hair wrap station, but last year we could not find any of the resorts that did the actual braiding....

I am fairly certain that I saw a hair braiding station at Universal (inside the theme park). Maybe you should check their web site to be sure?

Yes, at the salon called Perwig, at the beach club does this it, cost my dd around 60.00 for half her hair and full braiding was around 100.00 we called an made an appointment before we arrived. They did a great job and it didn't take long at all.

Thank you. That answers my ?. We are staying at BC so it will be easy for DD, she also wants the half-head or crown braiding. How far ahead did you call? Like the week before?

I called a week before i went but i bet if you go there right after you check in you can get an appointment when you want it. Have fun!!

Just back from our trip

Blizzard beach did not have hair braiding, only wraps. But we did go to a Flea market on 192 and I only paid $26 to get it done... So if you have a rental car, head to the Flea Market, they do a great job, it only took a half hour, and very cheap
