Hair and Makeup!

I had the airbrush make-up and loved it!!! I have a high colour (slight rosasia) and some broken capillaries on my cheeks. The airbrush make-up that Patricia and her team used covered these imperfections really thoroughly, and yet it felt so light and natural!!! It lasted beautifully all day!!! Highly recommended!!

Maybe not the best examples, but it will give you some idea!!!!

Does anyone have a preference between airbursh make up and regular foundation!

I also prefer airbrush makeup, since I am cadaver-pale and have tons of trouble finding foundation light enough. The airbrush makeup goes on sheer, so it blends better, but still covers imperfections. On me it looks much more natural than the traditional thick coat of foundation, powder, etc.

I can do my makeup pretty well. But it was my D'day, so I booked a beautician. As you have already done makeup classes, get a stylist for hair do. You have already cut down on the cost of dressing up.

Does anybody know whether any of these ladies will come to an on-site resort and do hair and make-up for two guests? I know Patricia now has a minimum number of people to service before she will travel out to WDW.

I just met with Patricia the other day for my hair and makeup trial and I LOVE her! She is so funny and very easy to talk to! She did airbrush makeup on me and i hardly felt it. She also used the airbrush to cover any imperfections on my chest and said she could do any imperfections on my back as well (That was a big PLUS for me!). I gave her a picture that I wanted with my hair and she pretty much copied it exactly! Here are some pictures from my hair and makeup trial:

(Don't mind the lack of centring, Nick took them...be grateful they aren't blurry lol

Her prices are very reasonable too! 70 for hair and 70 for makeup and she comes to you.

So I am booking with Beaute Speciale right now or at least I tired to set something up but that was just this morning. I am still torn and I may change my mind and go over to Patricia.

I used Beaute Speciale for my hair/makeup for our honeymoon photo session last year. Laine did my hair and makeup and did a wonderful job. I’d highly recommend them. My hair/makeup lasted all day.

If I wanted to book beauty speciale for my wedding and wedding party how would I go about doing that?

I am going to check out Beaute Speciale because of all the great reviews on here but I was wondering if anyone has used About Face out of Winter Park that is on the Disney vendor list?

what does anyone know about Fairytale weddings hair and make up? has anyone used them? I found them on the knot. they are also apparently a disney vendor. and david tutera uses them as well.

I'm in the process of booking beaute speciale as we speak. While I'm in the early planning stages, I'm already impressed with their responsiveness. We've probably emailed back and forth 3 or 4 times today.

I'm currently in Orlando now to attend my PS, and scheduled H&M trial sessions with both Beaute Speciale and LeJeune Artistry. I HIGHLY recommend Patricia LeJeune. She spent time before starting the appointment to understand what my wedding day was going to be like and my vision. She did an amazing job and my hairstyle turned out just like the example photo I showed her. We also had our engagement photo session later that day and in the 95 degree heat, both my hair and makeup lasted all day.

I would caution anyone planning to use Beaute Speciale that they are VERY strict with their cancellation policy. They will charge for any service you originally schedule but do not go through with. I made my appointment (as you have to or you would not get an appointment) nearly 2 months before my trip for the PS. A few weeks before I left for my trip, my travel plans changed and I tried to cancel the trial, but the deposit is not refundable...so I kept the appointment. I only had time to do the hair trial, and because I wasn't extremely clear in my email interactions, they charged me $60 for the makeup service that I did not go through with. All the owner kept saying on the phone was "the contract" and "if you read line 1 of the contract" (clearly all she cared about was her contract and how I was going to be charged no matter what). Make sure you read the contract and understand the fine print because there is no flexibility if you miss any of the timeframes listed.

That's a little scary. Thanks for the tip

I'm generally pretty good at doing my own makeup and I'm happy with the way it looks in photos but I was really concerned that with the Florida heat and humidity, my makeup wouldn't behave the way it normally does and that it would run off my face onto my dress. So I booked with Beaute Speciale for airbrush makeup plus eyelashes.

Wow! Thanks for the info. I knew there was something I just didn't like about them that I kept putting off booking them. And continued to look around. Still am. I've contacted 3 other places/people I get different prices and most charge for traveling, anyone know any other people other then b.s? Wth reasonable pricing

Another vote for Patricia Le Jeune. I used her for my wedding in May. My hair stayed put all day long, I have fine hair and it usualy falls out by the end of the evening but this didn't budge.
My bridesmaids all had thier hair put up and loved it (they are a fussy bunch so this is praise indeed). She also did our make up, I wanted a natural look and got just that. It still came out great in photos and lasted all day. I didn't touch up at all. She also did individual natural looking false eyelashes which were fab.

You're welcome. I would also add that my hair did not turn out at all like my inspiration photo, and it felt shellac'd on my head.

I was not crazy about my experience with Beaute Speaciale. My makeup melted down my face and I had raccoon eyes an hour after my makeup was done. I regret not going with airbrush. I had also requested a specific beautician and was told I would have her, so I booked. I did not get her even after confirming several times my request.

If we do photos again, for anything, I will use another vendor. The girl I had was really nice, but my makeup was a mess.
