Hi all!
Who besides Patricia LeJeune and Beaute Speciale are recommended etc?

Those are the only two I know and I'm looking to book someone for hair and makeup for an "anniversary" shoot in Nov.

Some names I've seen go up are About Face, Lisa's Magical Weddings and Weddings by Crystal. I can't comment on any of them because I went straight for Patricia LeJeune and booked her, but I've seen other brides mention them!

I've been going between beaute special or lejeune. The only reason I'm leaning toward Beaute is they offer men's grooming. As my DF as a beard and mustache, I want him to get a trim for our wedding and photos. Does anyone know where we can go onsite instead of beaute that might be cheaper. I can barely find any information for mens grooming.

I used Janet Mednick from Onsite Beauty for my vow renewal and she was wonderful.

Have you called the salons at the various Disney resorts? My husband got a shave and a beard trim at the Contemporary's before our wedding (though that one is closed now). Also, have you asked Patricia Lejeune about barbering services? She has a salon now, so that may be something she offers.

I recently booked About Face for my wedding this September. They were a bit pricey compared to the others, but I was personally taken away by their work. As a makeup artist I could have done my own makeup, but that's not something I want to fiddle with for myself and my girls on the day of, so I did splurge. After speaking to them on the phone they were SO nice and wonderful answering all my questions.

They also mentioned that they give everyone a little kit for touch-ups and whatnot.

about face is around $300 for hair, makeup and travel. I am looking into them and beaute speciale as well, but I really like about face so far

I'm using Fairytale hair and makeup and they quoted me $175 for the bride and $150 for bridesmaids, for both hair and makeup.

I found another vendor..

Flawless Faces by Alicia.....I want to do a retro type look for a photo shoot (like an Anniversary shoot) in Nov. They have a stylist that specializes in that type of look...but the price would have been as much or even a little more than Patricia...

The thing was, last time I contacted Patricia, she wasn't coming to resorts for just one person and I have to find a way to the salon....then she had actually booked a wedding for that day (this was this past December) so it was ok.

We had to postpone the shoot last December to this coming November..

So, I reached out again to LeJeune (I had her for our wedding and our honeymoon photo shoot) and she will come out to me.

So, I went ahead and booked her. I'm pretty sure she'll do fine with the look I want.
I think Carrie used her for her ToT party?

I like that I get to work with someone I know and am comfortable with.

Anyway, so we're all set! Taking photos with Regina in November! Now to lose some weight, find a dress and shoes and something for my hair! LOL...
