Our May trip is 16 days and includes a stay at three resorts, Boardwalk, Animal Kingdom Villas & Wilderness Lodge so I suspect we will come back with 1000's :thumbsup2.

Day 2
Sunday September 14th
Part 1

This will be the first morning that we all wake up at Disney! Sadly we are going to have to wake up to an alarm because we have early morning plans. Since Ryan, Alexis, Chelsea and Ashton will be sleeping down the road at Shades of Green they will need to be responsible for getting up on their own. We will all be headed to Epcot this morning for breakfast with some Princesses:

Akershus

These pictures are from our 2011 trip with my cousin and her daughter Savannah.

Ariel is Savannah’s favorite so she was thrilled when Ariel took her hand and walked with her during the parade.

I plan to get the same dress for Caroline that Savannah is wearing in the pictures above. I am hoping that Aurora is at the Breaskfast. Our reservations will be for 8:15am so I want us all to arrive at Epcot by 7:45am. This means we will need to leave our room by 7:00am just to be safe. I will definitely need some pixiedust: this morning to get 9 people out the door on time!!!

I am hoping that breakfast will be done by the time the park is ready to open so we can head straight to my favorite ride of all time.

. by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

The plan will be to ride standby because we will save our tier 1 FP+ for Test Track. We will have to do a child swap on this because Caroline will not be tall enough to ride:sad1:. Kenny will stay with Caroline while the rest of us ride. Then Kenny will ride with three more from our group after we are done.

Next we will head here:

This was the very first ride Gabriel ever rode as a baby. I love that it will also be the first ride that Caroline rides!!!! We will probably spend a good deal of time in ImageWorks after. Gabriel loves this area and I think Caroline will love it also.

Then we will head here:

After the ride we will head straight to here:

We love Crush and never skip it. In fact, there have been trips in the past where we have seen it 5 or more times in a single trip.

After we spend some time with the “Dude” we will walk around the aquariums until our FP+ opens for Test track. Last year we were lucky enough to see them do an experiment with the Dolphins while we were there which was really cool.

I plan to get a FP+ time for TT right before lunch.

After our ride we will head here to eat. This is my second favorite CS restaurant.

Up Next; where will we go after lunch???

your plans sounds fantastic and wouldn't change a thing!!!

I don't know much about Shades of Green!!!

I don't know much about Shades of Green!!!

Thanks:thumbsup2. I did not know much about Shades of Green either but a fellow wrote an ebook on it so I bought that and am up to speed now. It was actually one of the three Original Disney resorts (along with Contempory and Poly). It is located between the two Disney Gold courses. It was purchased by the Military from Disney after Dessert Storm to give Military personel an affordable place to stay while at Disney. The rooms are bigger than any stand room at Disney and they are well maintained. The big plus for us is that it is a 5 minute walk to the Poly and very afforable.

However, I am not sure I would stay there if we did not also have the reservation at Bay Lake because you don't get the Magic Bands when you stay there.

Day 2
Sunday September 14th
Part 2

When I last left off we had just finished lunch in Mexico. So after lunch we will finish up with Future World. I know for sure we will want to do Mission Space:

DSC03888 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

Some will want to do the orange side and some the green. I can take this attraction or leave it so I will happily be the one that stays with Caroline since she will not be able to ride.

We will also want to take a turn in the giant golf ball!

Photo0120FourBySix by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

My dad actually worked as an electrician at Disney when Epcot was being built. He ran all the original electricity for Spaceship Earth

Sadly I think we will also have to make some time for:

I have never done this attraction due to the overwhelming horrible reviews but Ryan is a HUGE MJ fan so I think he will want to see it at least once.

It will be up to the group on whether we do the remaining attractions in Future World as these are all attractions that Kenny, Gabriel and I can take or leave.

1. Ellen’s Energy Adventure (big time commitment at 45 minutes)
2. Living with the Land (Might do this while Kenny is riding Soarin. Those that want to skip it can ride with Kenny)
3. Circle of Life (Just a movie and IMO not worth it)

Up next, World Showcase

Geez you have everything down to the millisecond!

sooooooooooooo not a fan of Jackson. Glad we won't have to do this.. ever...

:joker:

Does your son have a wookie backpack?

Yeah but we'll see how it actually turns out when I do my TR;)

You and me both but Ryan is probably one of his biggest fans we I will suffer through

Does your son have a wookie backpack?

Yes we got it last year at Star Wars weekends. Very impractical because is doesn't hold much but he loves it.

I have the Yoda one. Surprisingly it hold a TON of stuff. shocked Chewy doesn't. :confused3

Day 2
Sunday September 14th
Part 3

When I left off last we were finishing up future world in Epcot so now we will head to World Showcase. I would like to start with Mexico and work our way around. We will definitely want to see the Gran Fiesta Tour (or as Gabriel calls it Mexican its a small world):

DSC03668 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

We love this attraction. I will also need to get a Margarita while we are in Mexico.

We will see Malelstrom when we reach Norway:

DSC03905 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

However, we will skip the movie at the end.

I want to be sure and see The American Adventure when we reach America. Gabriel loves anything to do with history (Hall of Presidents is one of his favorite attractions):

DSC04366 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

We will take our time and checkout all the shops while we stroll through World Showcase:

DSC03910 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

DSC03913 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

DSC03912 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

If Aurora was not at Breakfast this morning then we will make time to see her in France once we get there.

Photo0273FourBySix by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

I will also grab my favorite drink while in France:

DSC05236 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

We will have dinner reservations at Cape May for 6pm. So ending our walk through the World at Canada will ensure that we are close to the World Showcase exit. This means that it will just be a 5-10 minute walk to Cape May. I estimate that we will have about 3 – 4 hours to enjoy the World Showcase before we head to dinner.

This is another buffet (you will see that will be a theme for us throughout this trip). Hopefully, some of our group enjoys seafood and we can take advantage of the all you can eat crab legs. When it is just Kenny, Gabriel and I I'm the only one that eats the crab legs and it is hard to justify the cost of the buffet. If the feedback from the group is they do not enjoy seafood, I will find somewhere else in Epcot or on the Boardwalk for us to eat this night.

After dinner we will head over to the Yacht Club boat dock for a very special evening. We will be enjoying an Illuminations Cruise:

DSC03290 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr
From our last Illuminations cruise

We did this last May and absolutely loved it. It is a great way to watch illuminations and will be a great way to end our first full day at Disney!

Once the cruise is over we will grab a cab at the Yacht Club back to Bay Lake/Shades of Green. We will need to get the kiddies in bed so we can be up bright and early the next morning to head over and see the Castle!!!.

I will be there the same time as you (6-22 Sept) taking a first timer. It is so much fun! I can't wait to catch up and see what all you have planned.

:welcome: and thanks for following along. 16 day trips are awesome:cool1: We were able to take two last year. This year we are doing 16 days in May/june and then just the 10 days in September to avoid taking our DS9 out of school for more than 2 days (we are blessed that he actually gets a week off in September).

Ohhhhh a illuminations cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i can imagine the pictures you will have!!!!

Day 3
Monday September 15th
Part 1

UPDATE: I was finally able to make my FP+ reservations for our May trip and I learned a lot in the process. This new knowledge had me rethink my entire touring plan for this trip so I have made updates below.

We are headed to Magic Kingdom on this morning. This will be the first of 4 visits we have planned for MK this trip. Since it is just a few minutes’ walk we will be able to sleep in a little. However, I still want to be out the door by 8:15am because I do not want to miss the opening show:

DSC03560 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

DSC03564 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

DSC03563 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

First up will be Under the Sea - Caroline and Alexis are both big fans of Little Mermaid so I am super excited for this to be there first ride in Magic Kingdom (Chelsea loves Little Mermaid also but rode this in May):thumbsup2

Gabriel is embarrassed that I made him stand in front of a girls ride:;)

After the ride we will stop in for a quick visit with the star herself:worship:

wdw201415481980400_6989394943_18 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

Next we will use our first FP+ to see Enchanted Tails with Belle:

Photo0227FourBySix by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr
This was one of the highlights of our May 2014 Trip when Gabriel got to be the Beast and dance with Belle.

Then we will use our second FP+ to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. I am hoping that Caroline is big enough to ride! If not I will wait with her while everyone else rides since I got to ride during our May trip.

Then something that I am sure Caroline will love:

DSC03631 by Disneyalwaysn4ever, on Flickr

The we will use our third FP+ to see Anna & Elsa

At this point, we will make our way over to have lunch with some of our favorites (Crystal Palace)

After that we will take a relaxing cruise on It’s a Small World - One of my favorites:lovestruc

Up next we finish a long day in Magic Kingdom

Fireworks are not hard. Most point and shoots have a function for them...

Love the change! A friend of mine just talked me into one for 2015!!
