After getting back to our right sizes, we decided to visit Minnie and Mickey’s house for the last time since this was the last day Toon Town was gonna be open

It makes me sad that Toontown won't be there when we go next visit...That was always one of my favorite spots in MK...

Oh my! I love, love, love those dresses! Especially the halloween one! I just bought Creighton some halloween clothes from the Disney Store on Saturday. Halloween is one of our favorite holidays as well as Creightons birthday!

I read this and just had to tell you, I have always had a tenuous relationship with my MIL. She never really liked me. At the beginning it bothered me and I tried to fix it. But as time went on I decided I didn't have the energy. My husband and I only have one child. My Princess (as she is so fondly called by me) is now 15. she was born late and my labor was induced. It all happened pretty quickly and (long story short) I delivered all 9lbs. 5oz. of her medication free. Aside from the pure joy and happiness I felt that day The other memory I have is rage. You see my MIL came to the hospital to see her new grand daughter that day and I thought that maybe we could finally move past everything that had happened in the past. I had just given her another granddaughter. She had no grandsons and had talked about it being a boy to carry on "the family name". She walked into my room and promptly asked if I wsa going to try for a boy now??!!! Um, what??? well the hormones were still raging, and I, without missing a beat, promptly answered "if you want a grandson, I suggest you have a baby so that baby can have a baby. Because this baby ain't having anymore babies!!! With that my dear, sweet, wonderful husband suggested that she leave.

OH MY WORD!!!! I think I would have picked up a scalpel and threw it at her!! lol

My MIL's problem started right before Chad and I got married. She was mad because she didn't get to help with the wedding stuff for me. Well, she wasn't my mother. She didn't understand that. Plus, Chad is her only child. So the fact he was marrying me and I guess she thought she was losing her son. They used to be really close but not anymore. Its just one thing after another! lol

Whew, I really need to get this report done so I can start on my new one! That is, if I do a new one. I would love too since it’s a trip with my mom.

Okay, let’s see where I left off! We had just decided it was time to head towards Adventureland. Of course, we headed straight towards the Jungle Cruise! MIL decided to sit out this one and Hannah had fell asleep in her stroller. So they waited for us in front of the Tiki Room. Here is my sweet girl in line

You can tell in this shot she was not too sure about going into the dark cave area soon! Lol

After our cruise, we went to Pirates!

Then we saw this cute fella!

We decided it was time for lunch so we headed to Peco’s Bill’s. We really love that place. I am fond of the chicken wrap and Hollie thinks the fixin’s bar is really neat. So, we get there and order our lunch. Chad had his regular cheeseburger and fries, Hollie got her cheeseburger, I got my chicken wrap and apple slices. MIL got taco salad and Hannah got to eat some of her baby food and formula! We had just gotten through eating and Hollie was ready to go. I took Hannah to the bathroom because she decided to have a stinky. Well…I get in there and I start to change her. This apparently was a nice blow out!!! LOL It had gotten on her pants! Ugh!!! I went to look through her diaper bag and guess what???? There was no extra outfit! I always put one in the bag for moments like this. Well, I call Chad and ask him to look in the backpack in case it was put in there by mistake. NOPE! Apparently MIL was looking for something in the bag that morning and had laid stuff out on her bed. Well, guess where the new outfit was. On her bed!! So I tell Chad I am bringing Hannah out to him in her diaper and shirt and jacket. She will be wrapped up around her diaper until I can get something. So I ran to the little gift shop near Splash Mountain. It was always one of my favorite gift shops. I found her a cute zip up jacket and matching pants like the ones she was wearing. But….not in her size! Lol So I got the next size up. She can actually still wear it. It was really cute. I don’t know if I got a picture of her wearing it or not. I run back and get her dressed then it was time to go ride some rides.
Next was Hollie’s favorite! Splash Mountain!

Now, this next post is a little hard for me to write about without getting a little bit aggravated. We went to Haunted Mansion after Splash. The first time we took Hollie to Disney in 2007, she rode this ride like 12 times. The next couple of times she has went to Disney, she does not like it!! I don’t have any clue why, she just said it scares her. This coming from a child who is not afraid of anything! So we finally talk her into riding it. Here she is in line:

We finally get inside and walk into the stretching room. Hollie was fine at first. Then she got a little upset. I just held her and told her it was okay. It was not real and that she would be fine! Well, we leave the stretching room and the line to get on was a little crowded. You literally felt like a sardine in a can. People were all up in your space and on your back, which I cannot stand!! Chad was behind me and then MIL and Hannah were behind him. Hollie was telling me she was a little scared and the guy in front of us heard her. Now, mind you. This guy is in his late 40’s or early 50’s. Standing with him is apparently his teenage son and also his wife. I see him nudge his son and he literally starts to make a moaning noise. Then he would cut his eyes at us. I was thinking in my head, “Um, what the heck is he doing??” Hollie got a little upset again and shed a tear or two. He saw this, literally SMIRKED and then moaned again. By this time I was like, really????? You’re an adult and your gonna sit here and try and make her cry and keep scaring her!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!! So, I moved her to my right side away from him and she was crying. Not loud crying, but still crying. She had her head on my shoulder and was trying to hide her face from anyone seeing her. He saw this and AGAIN started moaning and then tried to get closer to her. That was it!!! This was literally the straw that broke the camel’s back!!!! Do NOT make mama bear mad, because you will get it!!!! I said rather loudly, “Gosh, it must be so nice to be a so-called adult trying to make little kids scared of something!! I mean, are people that miserable in their own lives to where they act like a bully!” he made that smirk again which by that point, I could have knocked it off of his face!! This is where I became un-Disney like! He moaned again and then looked at us. Chad had now saw that I was getting mad about something after hearing me say what I said. He leaned forward and asked me what was going on. I turned to him and said, “This (not nice word) is moaning at Hollie thinking its funny because she is scared!” He wanted to get in front of me and I told him NOPE! I would take care of this!
The guy literally does it again when the line started moving and Hollie got upset again. So, I turned to Chad and said, “Here could you take her a second! Because I am about to knock his teeth down his throat!!” The guy heard me and just looked at me. Then a little loudly I said, “Yes, I am talking to you!!!! You stupid jerk! You think its funny to make noises and pick at kids trying to scare them!! Why don’t you try and scare me!! You wanna try that?? Because if I hear you moan one more time you will eat every tooth in your ugly mouth! You got me you moron!!! Your nothing but a bully!!!” Now, I can’t honestly say that it was very mature of me, but don’t dare do anything to my kids. I had already been cussed at for nothing. Then had my morning breakfast ruined. It was at my rope!!! The people to the other side of the guy just smiled and gave me a thumbs up! I had several people around us tell me, “Good for you! He deserved that! What a jerk!” He tried to get as far ahead of us as possible. He never said anything and I can say that was very smart of him. I hated it that I had to do that in front of people, but my gosh. He was supposedly a grown adult!
I can say that Hollie was fine the rest of the ride. I was too mad to take any pictures or attempt to take any. I did try to catch this at the end.

Next we headed to IASW

Poor baby, her face stayed so chapped the entire trip.

Reading your post reminded me of something funny today. I think I have posted before that your MIL reminds me of my mom. We took her to Disney once and well, once was enough! My DH can't go on our November trip so Jeremy and I are going solo. I wasn't going to tell mom until the trip was soon approaching but leave it to a child and Jeremy spilled the beans on Sunday. You can tell she is mad I didn't ask her to go with us. I have been told I am horrible for taking him out of school for 3 days to why do I insist on taking my child to Disney every trip--he is missing so much other fun places an on and on and on. It is going to be a long two months!

Wowza! The nerve of that guy! And the fact that he is an ADULT!!! I was totally for you that you shut him up!!!! That is so uncalled for on his part!
My daughter liked HM her first time we went on it...then two days later she freaked out! But it was MUCH more crowded, so I think she was feeling like a sardine. Plus...when you figure she was looking at everyone's rear ends in this smooshy room.
