I was waiting at the bus stop at the Poly, minding my own business when I found myself compelled to correct a CM. A frazzled Dad walked up to the transportation guy and asked how to get to Epcot. The CM told him to go to the Great Ceremonial House and take the monorail. The guy said he had just come from the GCH and they had told him he should walk. The CM scoffed and said "they are wrong. There are 2 monorails, one goes to MK, the other goes to Epcot". Usually I wouldn't say anything, but I could tell this Dad was already tired (and it was only 10 AM) and he didn't want to go back inside. I just said "you can walk over to the TTC and get the monorail to Epcot. The CM said the guy shouldn't do that because the Poly monorail was direct. "You just have to go over the first set of tracks and the outside monorail will take you there"!! I told him he could take the monorail but would have to change at the TTC. The guy was clearly confused as to the conflicting advise, but walked down the path so I hope he listened to me.
So, what do you do? Should I have butted in and corrected the CM, or just let the family wander around the Poly? (I kept having visions of the guy and his family climbing over the first rail at the monorail station)! As my DD said, "he had a clipboard, shouldn't he know how to get there?"
