Had to cancel our Aug trip

but.....Now we are going for Xmas!!!

We will be staying at AKV Kidani studio Dec 22-24 then moving to SSR 1 bedroom Dec 24-28!!!

Anyone been to either of these resorts during Xmas and can offer any advice? What section should I request at SSR?

Oh your thread title caught my attention but I am glad you'll have that Christmas trip. Sorry no advice as I've never been to those resorts but happy planning!

I can't say anything about during Christmas, but we stayed at SSR in May 2011 in a 2 bedroom in The Springs. It was a pretty short walk to the main pool and food area/checkin. We didn't have any issues with the buses while there, either.

I was alittle worried about the busses being full in the Springs section by the time it got to us. Isn't it the last stop in the rosort? I'm assuming the crowds will be crazy because it's Xmas week and imagine the busses will be packed with people. We will have a car, should we drive to the parks?

I would drive, make sure you have a good GPS and you should be good to go. SSR is a beautiful but very large resort. We liked being in the Springs because we were next to dining, the pool and the gym. We didn't use the buses, we had a rental car.
