had to cancel June stay

water damage in our 98 four windsTT!
Went today to check our camper since we have been having alot of rain, hail and nasty weather.. The kitchen floor is soaked,and flooring buckled and fiberglass side damaged, seperated from the wall Luckily there were no broken windows from the hail. (tho our neighbors had theirs broken,and they have a aluminum sides.. hail dings everywhere )
Called Ins Company,An Appraiser will be by Monday to take a look, hopefully they will not total it out. So sadly Dh says.. call disney and see if we can change because it doesn't look good

on a brighter note. we were able to use the Military discount that is being offered,not for the cabins... but for the boardwalk inn..not sure how we are going to like this "upgrade" as we are really really camping people The price difference wasn't too bad (already paid in full)since we already had the dining plan.At least we are going!

Hopefully we will be back at the fort next yr..

Oh my gosh...how horrible for you! My DH is going out to check our trailer right now. We've also had nasty weather and only checked the outside for damages.

Sorry to hear about the TT, but you'll still have fun...you'll be at DISNEY

With all the rain,hail and rain we've been having, I've been checking everyday, so far sooooo good. Sorry to hear about you problem it stinks.

dh went to check again last night, under the TT is a long piece of fabric of somekind,i(along the frame) it's soo full of water,took pics then poked a hole in it,,gallons and gallons of water came out.. needless to say this could have been going on for a long time, and we never knew it, guess the sun/ heat dried it out,Dh never noticed it bowing out, when the bearings were changed, tires rotated etc, (we had this done in the fall last yr)
A freind of ours has theirs in the shop now, a tree fell on it,knocking off the awning,filling the inside w water, seems the area where the awning attatches to the body, had torn away and rain was able to get in, from the top and bottom,also around where they store stuff (under the table area) their flooring had turned black. guess it's mold,
it was covered under their homeowners since they had moved it to their house to get ready for a trip, usually it's stored in a rv/boat lot, she told me yesterday if it was good sams or campingworld they probably would have totaled it out? We have USAA so waiting to see what they will do.

Thanks everyone for listening.. the dd's are disappointed about not going to the "new pool",sitting on the beach,watching the electric water parade..
Dh will be missing the rocking chairs at Crockett's Tavern having his drink of choice
It's going to be tough getting to our breakfast at Crystal Palace at 805 am from the Boardwalk Inn.. no peaceful boat ride across the lake debating on changing it or not..

I am sorry about the damage!! What a complete bummer. I just wanted you to know that we did get a mil Dis for the cabins last week. I called 2 weeks ahead of time. Don't give up. You might want to call every now and then and see what comes up. I really love stay at the fort too.

Oh man, that is a complete bummer. That would be my nightmare at this point because right now our trip is a "budget" one and we wouldn't be able to afford staying anywhere else- we'd need two rooms/etc. (and we're not doing dining plan and all that)
I'm so sorry! It sounds pretty serious damage but I hope you're able to get it all fixed eventually and I hope it doesn't cost too much! If I could afford it- I'd stay at Boardwalk someday although I know DH/kids will probably always want to go to FW. LOL Do you get to use stormalong bay? If so, the kids will probably get over the new pool at FW? Trying to think of some positives to this.......
