My dreams are very bizarre of course.. I haven't been to Disney for a long time either... Somehow we went to MGM studios and wandered around and couldn't find any attractions and went home without riding anything - what kind of nightmare is that.. Oh dear... I'm going nuts already :guilty:

Well at least it was only a dream... Another dream occured in the same night about Epcot and MK but I can't remember what happened. :sad2:

Very Common. Do not worry about it. It is the excitment. My son has one dream over and over. He finally gets to Disney, he lies down for a nap before hitting the parks and he wakes up 2 days later. :earseek: Relax and have fun!

I had a nightmare about the Polynesian resort- I had forgotton my room number and was wandering alone around the resort for hours and hours completely lost. Also, one of the Disney Cruise Line ships was docked at the Polynesian's marina.... lol :flower:

:rotfl: I've had a similar dream. It's the last day of our vacation, and we're still trying to get ready to go out for the day. Also one where I was stuck in a gift shop (at WDW) and couldn't get out. It is always a kind of rotating room, but somehow I have to wait for it to rotate to a certain position in order to get out. It keeps going faster and faster, and I'm stuck inside. Used to dream that I was lost at an amusement park, alone, and it was closing, and I couldn't get to an exit. Then, I also had one as a kid that I was stuck inside Marshall's Dept. Store. Even though I haven't had this dream for years, I still refuse to shop there!

Too funny! :rotfl2:

I have strange dreams like that a lot. Somehow in my dream I "know" that I'm at Disney, but nothing ever looks like the parks. One time I dreamed that I was on some sort of indoor boat ride, but you had to get in the water and sit in chairs that were chest deep and float by all the stuff. Very strange. Subconsious fear of falling in the water on one of those rides maybe??

I've dreamed several times that while we are there, none of my family wants to leave the resort room and we never go to any park the whole time we're there!

I know what y'all mean. When I dream about WDW, the parks in my dreams look more like that 'knock off' park they were posting about here awhile back.:)
Now the dreams this week will be more about packing and finding the van...:)

This is too funny :rotfl: Every so often I will have a nightmare about WDW :earseek: I think it's from all of the obsessive compulsove planning that I do. Anyway, I have had some seriously weird and at the same time hilarious nightmares about WDW and the funny thing is I have had a couple of them more than once.
One involves me trying to get on Splash Mountain only to find out they are using these rubber intertube boats instead of the logs. It takes me like 3 hours to finally get on the ride and then the whole time I am fighting to stay in my boat :rotfl2:
The other dream involves the Haunted Mansion and in my dream it is always a very distorted version of HM. I actually dreamt that they sat you in a chair on wheels and pushed you around the house :confused3
All of the other dreams basically involve me being in WDW but not getting to the park on time or only getting to ride like 3 rides in an entire day.

Ya know...we seem to have this in common...I'm wondering if the DIS Boards are doing this to us. I've been suspicious about those Tag Fairiesfor a while :earseek:

I had a nightmare about the bus at Pop. DH and DS were still in the lobby (for whatever reason) and I went out and got on a bus. Well, the bus left without them and it wouldn't stop to let me off. I didn't know where the bus was going and I didn't know how to get in touch with DH and DS to tell them where I was. Doesn't sound so bad when I type it out, but in the dream I was getting a little panicky.

I had another one where we decided to go a week early. So we get there and we don't have any money or park passes because we changed plans and left everything at home. We weren't able to see or do anything because we couldn't buy new passes!

The other one I remember was going from the airport to some bizarre offsite hotel and being stuck there while the minutes that we SHOULD have been in the parks ticked away. The more time we spent trying to get transportation to Disney the more frustrated and anxious I got.

I agree that it has something to do with the enormous amount of planning many of us do. That pressure gets to you, doesn't it?

I'm so glad I found this thread because I had the EXACT same dream the other night. I leave on Sunday, so I guess it would figure that Disney would be on the brain in a big way lately...anyway, I dreamt that I wandered all around the Magic Kingdom and only rode one thing...Buzz Lightyear! I just remember thinking "what a disappointment...I went all the way there and only rode one ride...geesh."

Then, I woke up and realized that I hadn't gone on my trip yet, it was just a goofy dream.

:sunny:

 I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one having Disney nightmares! My DH and I are doing land/sea in Sept. This is my first cruise. Right after booking our vacation I dreamt that the ship was hit by a huge wave and did a complete turn over. We had to swim under water to get to our cabin! Really weird. Then a few days later we saw on the news that a cruise ship was hit by a big wave. I was weired-out for days but I think I'm O.K now. :earboy2:

Wow! I had almost the same nightmare. I was with my family and friends in MGM and we were just walking around and around and discussing what we wanted to ride, but before we knew it, the park closed and we rode nothing. I was so upset! Glad it was just a dream. :sad2:

Cute thread.

I dreamed the other night that my DBF and I went to the Magic Kingdom, and instead of running to the "big" rides first or getting any fastpasses, we headed straight to the Carousel of Progress! We were the only two people in the theater, and suddenly I realized that everyone else was going on Splash Mountain or BTMRR. Then, a cast member stopped the show and told us to get out there and get those fast passes!!

I've LIVED that nightmare; that's why I won't stay offsite again!! :teeth:

I had a nightmare about JP ride in IOA. The big T-Rex tore from the ride as we went over the waterfall and started chasing me, my mom and my aunt up this rocky cliff (where did that cliff come from??) I finally helped push my mom and aunt through a crevice just big enough for the three of us. As I attempted to squeeze in, my leg was not quite in yet and T-Rex grabbed my ankle. I can still remember it vividly and I had this dream over a year ago. I woke up sweating with my leg stuck between my bed and the wall and totally exhausted. I re-arranged my furniture that week.
