Had my first crazy Disney dream...

I had a dream last night that we got there and I had DS's suitcase all packed and we forgot to bring it. We also missed our morning at DHS and I remembered thinking "oh no! our TSMM FP+ went to waste!". We arrive in a little under 4 weeks.
On a positive note in the dream, my magic band worked perfectly!!

I dreamed we checked into the Art of Animation Nemo suite we have reserved and there were cooked beans on the floor. So we had to go to another suite, Lion King, which had a dirty bathroom. Then on to Cars, where we finally stayed.

It was horrible. On the bright side, we did get to see all the suites.

My daughter and family are going to meet us in WDW in 2 weeks However, she is starting "her Disney nightmares" now. She said that she dreamed that all five of the family were at the airport and she forgot to pack her ID. (We live 5 hours from a big airport). She panicked as they were loading the plane, told the others to just go ahead and she would catch up. She then had to drive 10 hours total to get her ID, then back to try to get a flight to WDW. What a nightmare. She says this is just the first of her Disney nightmares before we get there! Whew, I never dream about wdw likje that!

Haha-these are great! I thought I was the only one with Disney dreams! Last night I had a REALLY GREAT ONE, but it was such a let down when I woke up.

I dreamt that I read a post here on the the boards about a secret park where they put all the old rides and closed attractions and you could get in free if you knew the passcode at the gate (like at the Safehouse in Milwaukee if anyone has ever been there).

It was only Disboard people, and we were all on the bus and being all supersneaks about getting dropped off somewhere other than where the other people were going.

And then when I arrived, A-MAZING! There were rare characters walking around everywhere, and they were playing the "It's the Time of Your Life" music from 2009 and CM's were walking around with trays of birthday cupcakes, and I saw Horizons and pulled the sword out of the stone.

And then I woke up - wuh wuh wuhhhhhhh

I'm glad others have crazy dreams too. On the positive note, our LM room was HUGE in the dream! Haha I'm not counting on lots of space, as we'll mostly be in the parks or napping, but it was a nice room in my dream!!!

I've been having them pretty frequently. They are normally good and last for what seems like hours. I get to roam around the parks and ride different rides. Sometimes they are completely different that the actual ride and my own touch of imaginering. Other times it is exactly like the real thing.

But this morning all I remember is I was at Animal Kingdom for rope drop and we got back to Everest and there was already a huge line. So I said we should go get in the single rider line and it was packed too. I didn't know what to do. Should I risk making the huge treck across the park to Safari? What if it was just as bad?

I love the idea of the extra park! That would be amazing....

I have Disney nightmares before every trip! I'm surprised I haven't had one yet this time. I probably will now because of this post!

In my dream, we are on our last full day and we haven't even gone to 2 whole parks yet!! It is really a nightmare!!!

My Disney dream is usually being halfway through the trip and realizing I forgot to go to any of the parks.
I don't know how that could ever happen but I always panic in the dream!

Oh my gosh! I thought I was the only one who had dreams like this! Our vacation is in four days and I've been having these dreams for the past six months. In most of mine, we never even make it into the parks...there are all kinds of stupid delays that keep us from getting in and we miss all of our FPs and ADRs. We always get soooo close, but never quite make it.

In one, it snowed so badly in Orlando that we couldn't even get out of our resort. In another, my husband somehow got cursed and had to replace the Mad Hatter (the Johnny Depp version) and live at the parks but he couldn't actually visit the parks. My most recent one is also the only "almost" good one I've had...we went to Epcot, missed our FP for TSMM (which I know is *not* at Epcot, but it was in my dream). So then we went to play slot machines (??) and I won $10,000 dollars!

The human brain is a miraculous and insane piece of machinery...

I am glad I am not the only one that has these dreams. I've had two Disney nightmares so far. The first one was that I completely forgot we had fastpasses and by the time I remembered the window for them had passed. The other one was I got to my resort and they told me I was there a week early.

My non-PhD analogy
Some of us stress about the planning and worry too much (that's the group I am in too- always dream it's the last day of our vacation and we haven't visited any parks yet).
The rest of us are go-with-the flow types and believe "what will be, will be" (dream of having great trips).

My recurring Disney dream is that I'm at WDW but none of the attractions are where they are supposed to be, and there's other stuff that doesn't exist at all.

I would camp out at Noon just to watch SpectroMagic one last time.

My recurring dream before our last trip was we were in a bakery located where Pinnochio Haus is located just before RD. suddenly a massive swarm of people are moving up Main St. heading to rides. I'm disparate to get out there and start riding, but there was always a reason we couldn't (Doors locked etc.) and all I could do is helplessly watch as ride queues filled up to 60 minute SB everywhere.
