Had my card "skimmed" yesterday!

*shudder* that has happened to me before too.... urgh... luckily i didn't have enough cash in the account for the transaction (made in Italy!) to go through.... and it happened to a few friends around the same time too...

I'm sorry but your bank was quick! mine are too tho... and the number of times i've been stopped paying for something and had to speak to some lady from Nat West on the phone to confirm I'm me... lol...

Another scam that I can only think involves post office employees, is the theft of cheque books in the post, they use cheques from half way through the book - not at the begining, this happened to us, and it was only that I hade moved the money before we went on holiday or they would have got about £1,500!!!, when I reported it to the police station I was the 6th person that day to report such a crime!!, I now collect my cheque book from my branch!
