Had first planning session this morning

Ok well.. I thought I'd know what I wanted but now I'm more confused! I am torn between all the awesome locations.

Did anyone have their reception in a ballroom (more specifically, the Boardwalk)? Did anyone have it at the Living Seas? Ariels?

i havent had mine yet but im having my reception in the boardwalk - the marvin gardens rooms and patio! I went to see them on a planning visit/food tasting session in May and was glad i picked them they are lovely!

Some dont like the ballrooms but for me the deciding factor was that i could have the outside area aswell which you dont get with the living seas or Ariels.

LS - The colours were just too opposite to what i wanted.

Ariels is nice, but we are having a christmassy theme and its very under the sea orientated which i didnt want.

I am having mine at Ariels, I just love the look and feel of the place. We thought about the LS but the colors are just oo opposite of our colors. For me I never thought about a ballroom, they are just too stuffy in my opinion and you need to do a lot more decorating which adds up to more $$
