Had a ring made at WDW

I think I remember reading a previous post about having a ring made at a couple locations somewhere at Disney. Does anyone know what I may be talking about?

In the Japanese pavilion you can pick a pearl and then have it made into whatever you want - ring, necklace, earings, etc. Theres also a place like that in DTD.

in the dinning area( forgot the name of the restaurant!!) they have a place they sell souveniers; in front of the restaurant there is a cart that makes rings while you wait, they have them in silver and gold...I purchased a 14k simple ring that says mom for 89.00$ (they will add your name at request)

I did this in DTD. There is a kiosk in DTD. You can purchase right out of their display case or have something made after you crack an oyster open.
I think it was $25 to open an oyster, welcome it into the world and then choose how you would like it set. I opted for a pendant necklace the first time. The pearls can be accomanied by other stones- like diamonds, they are pulled out and offered when selecting your setting.
On another trip I skipped the oyster opening and selected a pair of earrings with diamonds attached out of the case.
There are colored- like pink and black pearls, as well as your white pearls. These are top quality mikimoto pearls.

My daughter had a ring made with her name. We bought it from a cart outside of HDDR @ FW.

We just came back from WDW this week and my niece had a silver ring made in DTD in front of the Pooh store. It was very economical and very pretty. She could decide whatever she wanted them to engrave it with. He had a ton of people coming up to the cart while we were there.

I did the pick a pearl in Japan in Epcot for my birthday this past May. The price to pick the pearl was $15.00. I had a silver ring all picked out - I think it was around $39.00. Well, my oyster had 2 pearls - so I had to pick out a new ring. They did have one that held 2 pearls. The total for my oyster and the ring was $50.00.

They also do pick a pearl in DTD and the Beach and Yacht Club - maybe other places also.

In DTD and I think Mexico in Epcot they have a stand where you can have your name engraved in a silver or goldtone ring.
