Had a great vacation at AKL

Very clean rooms, nice CM's and the lobby was gorgeous! The rooms seems kinda small but having the balcony was worth it with the animals. I was in room number 4223 and had great views. I didn't hear any construction noice but one day we had a lot of paint fumes, and couldn't stay on the balcony because we have a lot of asthmatics in the family and one night someone was smoking.

My kids did some of the special bead activities, animal tracking, etc. We had a great time and would love to return!

Glad to hear you enjoyed AKL. We love the lodge too and are having a hard time thinking about staying anywhere else.

hi! we were there the exact same dates! glad you had a good trip. i never really stayed on my balcony much b/c some leady the floor below us would stand on her balcony and scream bloody murder at her kids, it was awful! ....was it you? JUST KIDDING! lol

haha well this lady was screaming bloody murder about hot chocolate or soemthing...i was embarassed for her and i could only hear her not see her. but it was like 7:30 am. i was glad i had already woken up b/c i wou;d have been MAD if that woke me up!
