Dan, and I have been back home from our Disney World trip for a few weeks now, and things have been kind of crazy around home because I'm in the process of getting a new job. I'm already hired, but my new boss is waiting for funding to come in before I can actually start. I've been anxiously waiting for her phone call to tell me when I can start because that means I'll get to set up my county paratransit rides.
We had a great time. Staying at Old Key West was fantastic as it had been before. We met another cast member at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad who was also from Oregon. He was from Medford which is about four hours from where Dan, and I live. We had a great time talking to him. On the bus on the way back to Old Key West. I got to talking to a grandfather who was with his family, and they were from Minnesota. I told him that I've been there, and how I experienced my first tornado warning in June 2001 when I was there. He said it was super cold there right at that moment, and I told him that I was also there when it was super cold, and almost froze to death even though I had brought every piece of winter clothing that I owned.
Now I wish I can go back someday for the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party because I want to see the Boo To You Parade. I've been watching the YouTube videos of it, and my favorite part of the parade is the skeleton band on the villains float. I would love to get to meet them in person if they ever do meet-and-greets with people if I ever get the chance to go back to Disney World at that time.
