Had a Great Time at Welcome Home Wednesday

It's never worked into our schedule but did on this trip. It was a lot of fun. The hosts were funny, the games were enjoyable for everyone from kids to grandparents in our group. Everyone in attendance received the free DVC member hats. Not a bad way to spend the heat of the day.

We went a couple of weeks ago and saw the "new" version. It was fun. I even won a prize at the drawing. The $25 giftcard at Curl. Ran out of time to go use it......hope it's still good in Sept.

I went for the first time last December. My 2 previous trips as a DVC owner, it had been canceled.
I can see how it wouldn't be everybody's cup of tea, but I really enjoyed, much more than I expected.
And the free hat was very nice!

That's funny - my son and I attended the WHW this past Wednesday and couldn't get out of there fast enough!!! We thought all of the games would never end - as soon as one was finally finished, they started up another one.

I understand perfectly. The first time we went we were like, WTH?????

We have gone a couple of times since and have 6 hats that we will never wear because we are not hat people. WHW is campy and doesn't take itself seriously. It's a nice thing to do for members and makes them feel special. An excuse to give away free stuff.
