Breakfast was in the hotel dining room today. We were up and on the road pretty early. Mom wanted to do Kilimanjaro Safari first thing because most of the animals are out in the morning. We got to see quite a few animals, even a few we had never saw before.
After the Safari, on our way to Everest, we saw DeVine. This is actaually one of my favorite things from the trip. We knew about DeVine before we left, but I didn't think taht we would actually get to see her. She was very beautiful and I enjoyed the experience.
The we decided to get Mickey Head ice cream bars

, which of course melt at lightening speed in the Florida sun. I think The Boy only got 4 licks off his before it melted off the stick and landed on the ground. Sister and I both offered him ours, but he wanted no part in it.*sigh* Well, the next ride will help him forget about it...
Expedition Everest *insert dramatic music* As we got closer to the loading area, I started to fell more nervous. Maybe this was a bad idea...We board, and I sit with The Boy. Everything is okay to start with. We knew about the backwards part in advance, so none of us were caught off guard by that. The only scary part really was the BIG drop. We plummet down it and as we reach the bottom, I can feel something wet running down the side of my face.

My first thought: My brain is hemmoraging and my ears are bleeding. I reach up to the side of my face, trying not to draw The Boy's attention. When I look at my fingers, I see what appears to be water. Then I start to laugh. The night before I had got water in my ears at the pool.

When we did the big drop, my ears popped and the water came out. Yes, ladies and gentleman, I am an idiot. *lol*
After we get off, I tell everyone about the incident. I believe they agreee with my being an idiot. Next was Dinosaur, which The Boy was looking forward to. Yet again, I was shocked at hoe violent of a ride it was. The best part was when the Carnataur tries to eat you, which is also the part where they take your picture. When we looked at the picture after the ride, The Boy looks bored and Sister and I looki like this:
Next was Kali River Rapids, which Mom had been looking forward to. The ride was awesome. The we did Everest again (Kept my eyes open the whole time this round). The we decided to go have lunch, which was at Resturantsaurus. After eating, Darrin and I stayed in the outside smoking area to have a puff. Sister stayed with us (no, she does not smoke) , and Mom took The Boy to the Bone Yard, I believe. In the smoking area is where we met "Elvis." He looked like Elvis in his later years, and he just kind of made casual conversation with us. Then, he asked where a rise was, and we told him it was in the Africa section. The many instantly lapsed into racial comments, which he said quite loudly

. We quickly finished our smokes quickly and made a hasty exit.
Then we did Kali River once more. I got soaked this time and it felt so good. Today was really hot.
Then we did Primeval Whirl. Sister, The Boy and I went together, and Mom and Darrin went in another car. This was also way more violent than I expected. I really liked it though and would not have minded doing it again. This is also the ride where my water bottle exploded all over me, because it was pinned between my hip and the side of our car. I didn't even really notice at first because I was so wet after Kali River.
After that, we tried to do the Festival of the Lion King. We got really good seats (even though the woman and her daughter behind us were VERY irritating.

) The we sat...and sat....and sat some more. After about 45 minutes they announced that the show was cancelled. So, we left, somewhat cranky. Although, it was nice to get to sit and relax in air conditioning for awhile...
Next up was Tough to Be a Bug, which I loved! Probably up near the top of my favorite 4-D movies. Although, after words Mom said she never felt a lot of the things (Ex: the bees, the roaches, etc.) I really don't know how she missed it...

nobody else did *lol* Except for the bees...I knew about the bee stings, so I leaned forward so I wouldn't be able too feel them.
Then we went and found a good spot for Mickay's Jammin' Jungle Parade. This one was probably my favorite parade. I loved the jungle music with all the drums and stuff, and the dressed up CM's on the stilts were really neat too.
Then we decided to do Maharajah Jungle Trek. On the way in we were given fast passes for Kali River by a CM. So, we went through the trail, then went to do Kali River one more time. We finished up with the Pangani Exploration Trail and then left and had supper. Supper was at Cici's Pizza Buffet, which was good, but I would not have minded a bit more selection.
After supper we went to MGM to watch Fantasmic. The show was incredible, but the people in front of us were crazy! I know people get excited and caught up in the Magic, but I was seriously considering throwing something hard and heavy

at the man in front of us,
Tomorrow is a relaxing day of shopping.
