Hacienda and fireworks

Does anyone know if Hacienda (in EPCOT) has a fireworks viewing area? I have a reservation for the fourth of July at 8:30 and we would LOVE to be able to watch the fireworks right there. . . . Inquiring minds want to know. . .

There was no special viewing area when we were there last October. Window seats have a nice view of the lagoon, other seating not so much.

There is a VERY limited viewing area and everyone wants to sit there. We were there last week and were in the area off to the left as you look out over the water (not the preferred area). There were very few people in our area of the restaurant so our children were able to go up to the window and see Illuminations. They have seen it many times before so that it was a partial viewing was not big deal to them.

My MIL (93) was in WDW for her first trip. They brought her a chair and we moved her over against the wall in the back of the room and I was able to narrate a bit for her. Even though they pipe in the music and lower the lights it is still difficult to tell exactly what is being shown on the earth.

We are glad we did saw Illuminations from here as we had dessert after the show and by the time we left the park had emptied out and we could leisurely walk out and it allowed my MIL to see the show she probably would not have been able to see otherwise as they were lining up at 7:00 pm near Mexico and it was a HOT day - 93 degrees!
