I was thinking of getting a Shark steam vac when my friend told me she had a Haan and LOVED it. She said she ordered it off their website. I'm not sure which one she has. Anybody else?

Yes, I bought it from newegg.com. I usually buy all my computer things there, but they offer a wide variety of other items. They have pretty good prices, and ship quick. I got the Haan steam mop a couple years ago, and within the first year it started leaking from the head. I called Haan, and they shipped me a brand new head for the unit at no charge, and didn't even ask me to return the old one. On the first unit we would occasionally use tap water, but on the new one we only use distilled, and it has not leaked again in the 7 months I have had it. I do however now have a weird issue where the heater will randomly stop heating depending where the handle is. I guess for less than $200.00 what can you expect for a life on the product. Good steam cleaners cost big money, so I'm pretty happy overall, especially since they replaced the head for me once. It has been much better than the shark mop we used to have, so I would probably buy another Haan when this one finally goes.

I have one and I LOVE it. There is no greater feeling on my feet than to clean my tile (we have a LOT of tile) and walk through the house barefoot and feel nothing on the floor but clean tile. I got mine from HSN.

We had a Shark but it did not last long. DH loves the Haan, he says it's so much better...I would not know though he does all the cleaning :goodvibes I did buy it at Kohls.

Bought mine from QVC for under $99 & it came with 2 micorfiber pads. LOVE IT!:thumbsup2

My kitchen has original hardwood floors (older house) and my adjacent laundry is tiled. I use the Haan on both. They come out squeeky clean. Haven't had any issues whatsoever. I think it's a lot sturdier than the shark. Oh, it has a telescopic adjustable handle....took me awhile to realize that! LOL
