A local High School closed when 40%
of the kids were sick with Flu symtoms. Archbishop Carroll it was on the news. On Tuesday 160 kids were sick on Wednesday 380 out of 900 kids, and they closed at 11:30 until Monday, Wow.
My daughter goes to a public school-middle school. But this could be huge many siblings go to other schools. Then yesterday confirmed cases at a local catholic elementary. I can't think about it or I would be crazy since theses kids see each other at dance or sports. Ugh!
I wondered about the h.s. since they had Homecoming over the weekend and after that large crowd was together massive flu symptoms.
My 12DD is worried, she just had pneumonia the last week of August and had an xray yesterday to make sure everything is okay. We'll get the results next week.
I keep telling her wash you hands. Don't touch you face etc. since we leave for WDW 10/23. I wanted her to get the nasal flu but she can't until the xray comes back clear.
I am bringing Clorox wipes to wipe my room down at Disney just as a safety precaution. Lots of people lots of germs. The last two times at Disney we or the people we traveled with were sick. Last Dec our friends DD7 month old was hospitalized for Bronchitus. Then in August our DD12 was sick with pneumonia for most of our trip.
Say a prayer we all stay well for this trip.
