So, I've heard good/bad both ways and the fare is completely different, so hard to compare. I want the Fantasmic package and already have ADR for hollywood and vine. Should I switch those to Mama Melroses?

The ADR is for evening, so character stuff is irrelavent, I do have 2 kids, but they eat a lot of different things. . .

If it were you, what would you choose, and why??? Need direction as I've never tried either, and it will probably be a few years before the return trip. . .
Thanks!

lots of bad reviews for H & V but we ate there last year with the Fantasmic package and enjoyed it very much. It was a really hot day and the fresh cold fruit tasted wonderful. Everyone loved the pot roast, garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. DS took a big bowl of what he thought was cranberry sauce. WRONG!! Ended up with a mouthful of BEETS!!! Priceless!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

If yu already have H & V, I wouldn't switch.

We ate at MM in July for the Fantasmic package, and it was one of the best meals we had all week. The kids liked the pasta, DH had some chicken something, and I had eggplant. It was all very, very good. We enjoyed it so much we're returning there again this July for the Fantasmic package.

DH is 75% Italian, and I'm 50% Sicilian, so we have eaten our share of Italian meals, too.

The atmosphere is also very nice here and relaxing, which is always a surprise in the middle of a theme park.

Since we have not tried H&V, I can't comment on that one.

For us...the H&V is a "can't miss" meal. We go every time and we love it. There is something for everyone and it is really good. The restaurant can get noisy when busy, but we have never had bad service there. We avoid the flank steak (too much tenderizer gives me a tummy ache), but everything else is fresh and tasty! The dessert bar is fabulous! :cloud9:
It's one of those places that you will hear both sides, but you should give it a try and see for yourself! ;)
Have fun! :goodvibes
