H & V Disney Jr character new-help

Have breakfast ADR with grandson for Disney jr characters. Would like to change it to lunch but thought I heard those characters are not there for lunch anymore. But if u look at H & V it says character s for lunch. So are they there for lunch or no?

Starting May 14, Minnie's Seasonal Dine will be held for both lunch and dinner and the Disney Jr. characters will only be at breakfast from that time forward. If your trip is before May 14, the Disney Jr. characters will be there for both breakfast and lunch.

Note, except for Handy Manny, all of the other characters are available to meet in the parks usually with little to no wait. I say this because H&V is notoriously bad and you may be best served to skip it

I know it used to get bad reviews, but more recent ones are much more positive.

While their breakfast buffet options are not as interesting as others (Boma, Tusker, 1900 PF, etc.), I would say the food is comparable to breakfast at Crystal Palace, and, from personal experience, superior to Chef Mickey.

Does Jake still meet in the park?

I would also add that they have a fun sing/dance along with the characters during the meal, which our kids enjoy.

Jake was meeting in the park outside the Disney Jr. theater when I was there in November. It was a pretty fun interaction.

Good to hear it has gotten better. We did it twice 3 years ago or so before the characters were in the park. My daughter was a huge Disney Jr fan at the time so it was the only way to enjoy them. She did love the little parade they did, but the food kept us from ever going back again

I give the breakfast a thumbs up. I havent been for any other meals, but the breakfast is good. Im pretty picky too. The have made to order omelets and plenty of options. If you dont like a hew things, there are plenty of other things to choose from. I just posted pics on another thread.....

I remember reading before our trip they may not be doing it, but I don't remember when that was. I just know when we went in December, they didn't do it. We still enjoyed our visit, but my daughter would have loved dancing with them!
