HI!
Going to H.H. for the first time...

I have a little 5'x8' Haulmark Cargo trailer, that I pull behind my Yukon.

I have 3 boys, and w/ golf clubs, luggage, etc. I use my cargo trailer every time we go on a vacation.

My question is........Parking at H.H. resort.

Will they let me have the trailer on premises? It is only a 5'x8' trailer. It is a nice trailer, not a eyesore. I have no choice, but to bring the trailer.
I hope someone can answer me?
I called MS, but they couldn't help me w/ a parking question.
I thought that in a past thread, I read that you could not have a trailer, or motorhome, etc.?

THANKS!!

Can't answer your question but I have the phone number for the resort -- 843-341-4100. Good luck!

They will probably make you park it at the far end of the resort where the parking is a little more plentiful and spaces slightly larger. The regular spaces are barely big enough for a mini van. Some are larger than others, but they're still small (when your husband is picky about where he parks). I'd call and ask the front desk CM. donna

Thanks....for the telephone number, and the responses to my question.
I will call the resort in the morning!!

I guess I had a BRAIN FART, but I didn't think of calling the resort....I called MS instead!
THANKS!!:)

Parking is very limited at HH and they may have you park the trailer in a nearby lot (100 yards from the lodge). As Donna mentioned, there is sometimes a little room at the far end of the resort island, but even that may be unavailable.

There will definitely be some solution.

Please post the answer from the resort!

Good Luck!

Keep in mind that no matter where you park it, you will have to unhitch the trailer. You were probably planning on doing that anyway so you could use the tow vehicle. But there is nowhere that you could park the tow vehicle and trailer combination. All parking spots are single vehicle only. (It's a small island and parking is at a premium).

Plus keep in mind that Disney had to have an arrangement with the marina for boat owners who keep their boats on the Disney side of the waterway. Boat owners are only suppose to park their vehicles in the Disney parking spaces for loading and unloading purposes only, but you may find many who leave their cars there the entire time they're out on the boat.

This further reduces the number of parking spaces available to DVC members.

And Yes, Disney management has had some boat owner's cars towed in the past, but as you can imagine, Disney doesn't like to step on anyone's toes so often they let it slide.
