H and R Block Peace of Mind Guarantee

Has anyone ever purchased and then had to use this. We still dont know the answer yet, because they said they are still working on our taxes again, but we purchased the guarantee and it seems like they made a very HUGE and I mean HUGE mistake. They said since it was their fault and we purchased the guarantee they are suppose to make up the difference between what they said we will get in a refund and what we are actually getting. Anyone have any experience with this. It just seems too good to be true.

I think there guarntee is that they will represent you and say its there faught, they will not pay the differnce of the mistake, maybe just a late fee

Apparently, if you bought their "Peace of Mind" guarantee, and gave them all of your tax information, they will pay the additional taxes assessed to you, up to $5000.

We switched from H&R to a new guy a few years ago. The new guy got us $1200 additional back from the year H&R did our taxes.
