Went to my Gymboree store today to get my new nephew (born yesterday) some outfits (never really shopped boy section since I have 2 DD's) and the line was out the door. You would think they were giving the stuff away . I was able to get some really cute outfits (2 premie ones - sleeper, hat and bib) and then the new beaver line -- I couldn't help myself. I think I bought everything that came with the line -- velour one piece outfit, socks with beaver face, beaver receiving blanket, beautiful cardigan sweater and then saw the matching knit hat!!!!! So cute!! Very happy with what I got and am thinking of heading back for my two girls (maybe some left over short sleeve shirts and skirts for our upcoming Nov. Disney trip!)

She will even have the new lines on there before they show up on the Gymboree site, as well as the upcoming sales, far in advance of when they are announced via email.

I SCORED on the baby sale, as I got a add'l 20% off coupon from a DISer. I got $250 worth, 5 Gymbucks....almost all the Autumn Highlands line. Then my mom got a coupon so she went and bought her another two outfits, from mix n match.

I will be redeeming my Gymbucks on my boys mostly as Miss Molly has quite the wardrobe now!

Ok, so I'm totally new to this Gymboree thing. Here's what I ordered:

3 hoodies
1 pair of boots
1 pair of sneakers
2 pair of jeans
1 pair athletic pants
1 pair of shorts
1 pair of overalls
1 short sleeve bodysuit
2 long sleeve bodysuits
1 one-piece long sleeve outfit
2 one-piece long sleeve pajamas

So 15 items, total was 177 (incl tax and shipping) and I got 75 of gymbucks. Was this a good deal?

We're expecting our first in January, and I have never bought kids clothes before. I ordered winter stuff in sizes 0-3 and 3-6 months, and the shorts in 6-9. How do their sizes run?

And will there be "new" stuff out by the time the gymbucks can be used? I ordered pretty much everything I thought was cute on the website, so if nothing new comes out, what will I do with the gymbucks?

I think you did well! Two new lines will be out by redemption- for baby girl/boy and kid girl/boy it is both the dressy and casual holiday lines. I'm not sure what layette will be.
