Gym Showers?

Hey everyone,

I'm sure there is a thread somewhere about the showers in the Gym/Spa area, but I just have a question I can't seem to find the answer for.

The showers in the gym are they just a regular or do they have the rainfall show head?

Also what hours can you access the showers here? Just trying to organise and work it out if some of us can use those showers instead during the cruise.

They have a regular shower head and are open anytime the gym is open. My husband is 6'11" and showers there all the time since it's so much more comfortable for him.

This is a great way to reduce the strain on your cabin's shower. There is a big locker room (one for men, one for women), with free lockers, roomy showers, big sinks and mirrors, towels, robes, etc. When I would go there before dinner time, it was pretty much empty. My wife and I quickly preferred getting ready there instead of in our cabin! Lots more space.

Is there soap, shampoo, etc in the showers? What do I need to bring from the room?

In the ladies' locker room there is liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, face wash, q-tips, disposable razors, terry robes and shower shoes. On the Dream and Fantasy there is also a small steam room.


Disclaimer: I'm not sure what all is in the men's locker room. I don't know about the Wonder or Magic.

There are hair dryers. I don't use them, either.

I seem to remember one had a rainfall shower head, but there were three showers. We use the spa locker room showers instead of the shower in the cabin all the time now. I bring a spa bag with facial soap for sensitive skin, shampoo that I prefer, and hair product. I also bring my hairbrush. I leave with my hair wet because the dryers can be hit or miss, and I finish getting ready in the cabin.
