Yay, I'm so glad I found your latest TR! I loved following your pics on IG, but I'm so happy you decided to do a report. I haven't scrolled through the TR boards in a long time, so it was perfect timing that I decided to do so today and found it!

Your TR title made me laugh. I rode with a group in October who were on Splash for the first time, and it was so funny hearing them get all psyched up for every drop thinking it was the Big One. It made me think back to my very first time on it and that anticipation of not knowing when it was coming!

Cute pics with the Chips! I love them.

We are doing BOG for lunch for the first time next month and I can't wait to try the Master's Cupcake! All of the food you got looks really good!!

Ahh, I can't wait to see FoF again!! Truly the BEST afternoon parade Disney has ever done!

Yeah! It's funny when you hear people's reactions to splash when they haven't been on it before! It's one of my favourite rides for that reason!

Thank you! Awww! Me too, they're so emotional! I just cry at just about everything disney! I went to disney on ice last year and I ugly cried at EVERYTHING!!!! It was so amazing!

Frozen summer fun!

After getting to bed fairly early the night before, we got up feeling refreshed the next morning! Katie, Dad and I all got ready for a morning at Hollywood studios!

The park opened at 9 so we left at around half past 8! The best thing about the Epcot resort area is you don’t have to get up quite as early when you’re going to Epcot or the Studios because you’re right there!

Off to Hollywood!



When we got there the park had just opened and the line for bag check was soooo long!!! It must have taken a good 10 minutes. Katie didn’t feel like doing rock n rollercoaster or tower of terror today so they decided to head to Toy Story Mania. Meanwhile, I had business to attend to.

I turned right onto Sunset Boulevard and saw, THE LOVE OF MY LIFE… The tower of terror! I always say that if I were Rapunzel, this would be my tower! But before I could have my first ride of the trip on my beloved tower, I decided it would be more time effective to do Rock n Rollercoaster first since the wait was already up to 20 minutes! I don’t think it took that long, maybe about 15 minutes though! The ride was a blast as usual! When I got off the ride there was this older cast member, maybe in her sixties working in the gift shop and she said “Thanks for rockin!” and it made my day!



I got off and ran over to tower of terror which had a 15 minute wait! I was so excited to ride this ride, it’s one of my favourites and my love grew for it when I went to Disneyland Paris last year. That place has the most amazing tower of terror cast members ever! I don’t think I’d ever laughed so much, they’re all so into their jobs and they don’t miss a chance to jump out and scare you!

I was just so happy to be back in my favourite hotel!!!

Meanwhile, Katie and Dad didn’t get to ride Toy Story, bbut the line was already crazy long, so they wandered round a bit and went on Muppet vision and met Phineas and Ferb (not gonna lie... I was kinda jealous!)



They also went on Star Tours!

When I was done with my rides, I went to find a spot for the frozen parade. I decided to ask one of the cast members where was best to watch it from, since I wasn’t sure. He recommended the steps of the Hyperion Theatre. So I walked over there and there was nobody there yet! I sat on the step, changed my camera lens and waited for my family! This was a great spot, whereas you probably have to stake out a front row spot on Hollywood boulevard about an hour before the parade starts, you could maybe walk up to the steps about 15 minutes before and get a front row spot! Another good thing is that Olaf’s float stops right in front of you, which is awesome since he doesn’t get off!















I just love Anna so much! She's so adorable!

Starring Rolls

By the time the parade was finished, we were all getting a bit hungry, and I think we all knew what we wanted.

STARRING ROLLS!!!!



One of my favourites!!! Look at all the yummy treats!



I couldn’t pass up my favourite Red Velvet Cheesecake Cupcake… yes it does taste as good as it looks... yes I did eat the entire thing… no I’m not ashamed in the slightest!



IT WAS JUST SOOOOO GOOD!!!

Mum got a cinnamon roll!



Katie got a brownie! She had this last time and loved it, and it didn’t disappoint this time!



Emma got a cookie, last time she had two in a row because she loved them so much… we obviously aren’t used to cookies tasting this good in England!



I think Dad went with the healthy (boring) option and got a bagel, I didn’t get a picture, but you all know what a bagel looks like!

We headed out of Hollywood after our snacks.





Had to grab a free water from the trolley car cafe! The great thing about the Disney Starbucks is that you can get free filtered water with tonnes of ice in! It actually tastes like good water and it saves you spending loads of money on it! In every park but Magic Kingdom, you can get it in a venti, but for some reason they only let you have a tall in Magic Kingdom. It's still better than nothing though!











We had to get some photopass pictures one the way out too!

Hello fellow English person! I've just been reading your report, it's so much fun! Your story regarding the title made me laugh, whenever I ride Splash no one seems to have a clue what's going on, I always hear people in the boat going "Is this is... IS THIS IT?!?!?!" Now I'm just going to want to go "...YES." and the fact that you do it on the monorail, OMG.


You're so lucky to stay at the Yacht Club, it's on my bucket list for sure. And your view!! Holy moly! You take some amazing photos, these two are my favourites:

Well… after going to sleep at around 2 am, it was unlikely that we’d be up for rope drop at Magic Kingdom at 8 am, but with jet lag (and excitement), 5 am feels like 10 am (and i was excited) and I ended up waking up then!

Wait... You were running on 3 hours sleep...?!?! You're crazy I find that when I'm in the parks after not much sleep, occasionally I hate everyone and everything (if it's really busy), but most of the time I'm completely delirious and ridiculous, and probably getting high on sugar

Fun fact: I'm a little photo crazy... especially when it comes to Disney. When i say "a little" I mean i took over 8000 pictures on my camera alone. So yeah, if you like to see pictures of EVERYTHING then you've come to the right place. Like this beautiful no selfie stick sign:

Hi Rachel! I'm Emily- glad to be following along! Someone in your family (you, I'm guessing?) is a great photographer. Enjoying the pictures in your intro post already! I had to laugh at your trip title explanation- my sister and I are not splash people but we decided to ride last year and we were screaming in terror at practically every other little drop because we were sure it was going to be the big one. I think our fellow log-mates were happy when the real drop finally came, haha!

That traffic is crazy but I'm glad you guys made it from Miami to Disney! Holy moly- what a beautiful view from your room! Such a welcome sight after all that travel, I'd imagine. Those sunrise pictures are beautiful as well! Yay'll look so cute in your dresses too.
