Hi all!

I have been wracking my memory and scouring the web but the only concrete thing I can find is no selfie sticks. I am wondering if it's ok to take a collapsible tripod into the parks just so I can get some photos of the whole family? Going with Sister, Brother in Law and nephews for their first visit next month and would like to capture as much as possible.

Thanks in advance :-)

I have seen the selfiestick ban enforced, at the parade once or twice. Also they sometimes announce it before the fireworks.

With Tripod, do you mean the big thing, or the small gorilla once to clasp them to a railing or something? I think the gorilla ones are no problem. The bigger ones... I don't think they are against the rules, as they do not block the view (as long as you don't hold them over your head).
