I don't think so. He has to be upbeat and overly cheery...this is Disney he's talking about, after all!!! And he needs to be cheery (and somewhat annoying) in order to capture the attention of both adults and children...while getting his message across. I now just tune him out!!!

It's just you, lol. I saw him at HS the other day and was bummed we didn't have time to stop by and say hello. He already had a crowd of people around him.

I really can't tell you if he is annoying or not. He could very well be the most annoying man on earth but if he's on the screen, it means I'm on Magical Express with my whole vacation in front of me. I think I'm pretty incapable of noticing annoyances at that point.

Nope, I find a few of the posters on the Dis who cannot spell and have horrible grammar much more annoying!!! Some whose posts are so incoherent that they literally don't make any sense and they don't even use correct words. At least Gus knows how to talk!!
