Guru's help please...

Premium APs get 15% off of food (not at carts or at ice cream places) and 10% off of merchandise over $10 (the $10 minimum does not generally apply to food, though occasionally a cm will insist that it does). Deluxe and below get 10% off of food and nothing off merchandise. If you go to Disneyland.com and look at the AP page, you can get a pdf of the blockout days for each level of pass (Premiums have none). Parking is an additional $49 to add to Deluxe and below (it's included for Premiums).

This is where DH and I are staying, we have a regular room rather than a suite. From the reviews on Trip Advisor, it sounds like a clean hotel, no frills, with a location that can't be beat. I'll be writing a review when I get back after our trip at the end of April.

Our rate for the regular room was $59 a night, I don't know if it would sleep 5 though (4 for sure). The suites went for more but they were still very reasonable if I remember right.
We were able to get a Family Parlor A suite here for about $512 for 5 nights, including taxes. Great rate, but we decided to go with CCI instead with two rooms, so we have 2 bathrooms for 6 people. DS&I has suites with 2 bathrooms, though, just none available during our stay.

I really wanted to try The Carousel, but they were full as well.

CCI only books thru disney travel and AAA (who books thru disney travel). The problem you would have with them is, you would need two connecting rooms, they dont offer suites. Each room is about $130 a night. I think for $250-260 a night you would be able to find something nicer.
If you have AAA, you can get 2 Deluxe rooms that can be joined for $102 each. The Premium at that rate are $112-122, with standard at $92, but they can't be joined.

According to their site they dont have any AAA rates available at the end of June. The rates they are showing are $139 for deluxe and $169 for premium. I dont see a discount if you get two rooms, maybe you have to call for that. :confused3
