Howdy folks
This is an incredibly short lived pre-trippie but for those of you familiar with my wife's pre-trippie then this is just my wee tuppence-worth before we depart for Florida.
Its been a helluva ride getting to this point, long story short we should have been in Florida in mid September but due to the collapse of our travel firm, XL, we lost that holiday 3 days before departure
. After waiting 2 years for our trip we were not to be defeated so after some hasty re-arranging we were soon re-booked for Late October
Wifey manically re-booked almost every dining reservation we had in place, sadly Cinderella's Royal Table was not to be and we lost out on the MNSSHP much to my dismay..oh how I wanted to see the Headless Horseman and the gravediggers with sparking shovels!! The pics I have seen posted by the many happy revelers re-inforce how good it would have been.
Still onwards and upwards
This Friday I will finally get to go on the trip we have long prepared for. The highlights will start early as we dine at Wilderness Lodge on the evening of our first full day. Never been there in all our previous trips and the place looks spectacular. The day will be spent in MK, I know it 'll be busy but it will be good just to wander about as we relax into our holiday. The next day we are doing a wee bit of shopping before hitting Epcot and the first "Daddy" treat of the holiday. Its Biergarten time!!!!! Oh how I have waited for this, the bringing together of sausages and beer in one fantastic place. I have been planning to get a stein that I saw 2 years ago but left too late to purchase, but as Mickey is my witness I will be swigging from my humungous big eagle topped stein by the end of this trip
That'll do for a first instalment, more late tonight no doubt
