Gulf Coast Visit

Our flight schedule has finally come out! I am now actually book things since I know the exact dates we are travelling

I am looking for a condo / timeshare rental in Clearwater / Tampa / St. Petes? Or anywhere around there. I would prefer to be close to the beach and have a view of the water (ocean or marina).

Problem is I only need a 3 night rental (Jan 23-26). Most of the places I have seen are week long rentals.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to where I can find a short term rental such as this?

Any suggestions on what area we should focus on? - I am not to familiar with that area. We have 2 kids (8 + 5) so not concerned about night life, mainly want to be close to the beach as the kids have never seen the ocean.

Few years ago we stayed at Sunset Vistas Beachfront Resort on Treasure Island (next to St. Petersburg). Very quiet and safe community, nice wide beach. They have 2 and 3 bedroom condos, very nicely equipped. The resort is beachfront, has large adult lagoon-style pool and a kiddie pool. I checked your dates and they do have availability for 3 nights with regular rates from $175 for a partial gulf view 2 bedroom to gulf front 2 bedroom at $245. AAA rate is 10% lower if you are able to use it. I highly recommend it, it is a gem! We stayed there with our twins (5 years old at that time), and they had a blast.
