Gulf Beach Towns - Clearwater?

I am not sure of where you are coming from, but Destin beach and Panama City beach are beautiful! They are both Gulf Coast beaches and are in the panhandle of Florida.

Last weekend our GPS took us through Dunedin and Art in the Park festival was going on. I love that dowtown Main Street & Douglas area. It’s on my list to go back to with just DH and spend a day. There were lots of families with strollers and dogs, but I’d rather go with just DH or a couple gal pals.

We LOVED Anna Maria. We did 1 week Disney/1 Week beach for 3 years running . We did Siesta Key twice (which was lovely), and Anna Maria Island. We found them both to be great. Anna Maria was like having a private beach, as we were up by Bean Point.

We are in the Jekyll Island Ocean Club next month, at the end of March, after a tour of Asheville, Charleston and Savannah. Really looking forward to it. Where did you eat on Jekyll Island? In the hotel?

I don't stay at the Ocean Club, it's brand new. I stay at the Jekyll Island Club Resort, same owner just the Club Resort is the original old club that was built on the island when it was settled by the rich folks. I eat there at the Resort, they have a number of restaurants on site.
