Guided Fishing Excursion

My son and I are planning to do one of the guided fishing excursions sometime next week. I noticed that there are several places that you can begin the excursion(Contemporary, Yacht Club, Downtown Disney etc.).

I know that they are not all on the same lakes. Just wondering which of these places is the best for going out with a guide? Has anyone had more success with a guide on Bay Lake rather than the Downtown Disney area for example?

A few years ago I went to a seminar and one of the group activities was a fishing trip. We picked up the boats behind Wilderness Lodge. We had 25 - 30 people in our group.

We had 5 -6 people on board each boat. Anchored under the monorail just outside MK. Everybody on our boat caught at least two. One lady caught a 10 lb turtle. Didn't land it though, broke the line. I had about a 3 1/2 lb big mouth.

Everybody in the overall group caught at least one, I think the top was 10 - 12.

The guide was fun, kept everything going when we weren't catching anything.
