This is a pricey book, so I would like some more info. It is around $30 and looks great, but I was looking for some first hand experience from people who have bought it for their kid(s) and have gone on a trip with it. I am considering getting for DD7.

Did you use any other autograph book or just this one book?

Did you buy the autograph book, too? (Thinking about it for DD3 so everything between my two DDs can be "equal"!)

Has anyone seen it in a bookstore? I'm going to try to look next week.

Any other info would be great!

I found it at amazon, so maybe it is at book stores. Here it is for inquiring minds...

And the autograph book...

Thanks!

Hi ,
I purchased this book for a friends daughters for their first trip to the world.
They are 10 and 7. They loved the book!! It helped them review the rides, possibly what was too scarey etc. They did however purchase separate books for the character autographs. They have just returned and are excited to sit down and share their trip experience with me!!:thumbsup2

Thanks for the info! Did one of them use the book for autographs or did each girl have a separate autograph book? Did the book have a place for autographs? Did they carry the book around the parks? I see that it is 8 x 10, and we will have a backpack that is big enough.

Thanks for your help!

Although it does have a spot for autograghs each girl had their own autogragh book. There is also a spot to fill out at the different countries in epcot. Stickers etc.
They did not bring the book with them to the parks but chose to journal at the end of the day then research the park for the next day.
Hope that helps!:)

We took this with us last month for my DS who is 4. It was really nice because it has a spot to write about what you did each day, what your favorite thing about each attraction was, etc. I think it will be fun to look back and remember these things. However, I think DS was a little too young for it because there were many attractions he didn't do (thrill rides, Epcot countries). I think it would be best for a child who is a little older.

It was too big for us to carry to the parks with us, as we just had a stroller and it didn't fit well in the basket. It might be fine if you are carrying a backpack, though. We typically left it in the room and filled it in when we returned. It does have autograph pages in the back.

Thanks for the help. I think that I'm going to get one GttM for Kids book and one GttM autograph book for DD7 and plan on just carrying the autograph book.

After our experience last January, I don't think that DD3 will get autographs, so it would be a waste of money. If, on the off chance that she wants autographs, I'll buy a book at the park. I like the idea of the autograph and picture in the same book. My attempt at it last time didn't go well.

I finally decided that it is worth the money since I don't scrapbook. I spent at least that much $$ on scrapbook supplies to make a scrapbook for our trip in January, but I haven't done a thing with it. I need something that is easier to do.

Thanks for all of your help. And I will report back after our January trip!

We have the GTTMFK book, and leave next week on our trip. DD (6yo) loves the book and we plan on having her color in all the Epcot country flags tomorrow.

My plan is to carry the book to Epcot for the passport stamps and CM signatures but to purchase a separate Disney autograph book for the character autographs. We will update the book each night after returning to the room. I figure it is a good wind down activity for before bed!

Can you tell me how much room it has for autographs? And is there a place for a pic, too (pic of character with child), on the page with the autograph of the character?

Please post after your trip and let us know how it goes!

The autograph section has 18 pages (each is 8"x10"). The pages are totally blank so you could do anything you wanted w/ them.

Dd just finished coloring in all her flags. She had a great time!

.... Only 6 more days until we are at WDW!!! :cool1:
