Guide dog meets Pluto

This is the one picture that melts my heart and brings me close to tears. It is a truly touching Disney moment.

I did, when the campaign first started. It was "accepted", like pretty much every other pic submitted by everyone, but that's the last I heard about it. Probably because it's framed so horribly... my poor dad is half cut off. I just wanted a picture quick before the moment was gone, and am kinda bad about framing shots when in a hurry...

I have another really cute shot of Newley at the parks in my son's Santa Goofy hat, with the ears tied under his chin to keep it on, but I can't post photos from here at work. I'll try and remember when I get home.

There was another time that Newley encountered Pluto, and it was so sweet -- Pluto got down on all fours and *crawled* over to Newley so as to be eye-level and not scare him. Somehow I missed getting a picture of that time. But I swear, there are no people in the world as amazing as Disney CM's!!

I love that picture of Newley meeting Pluto. My sister "a huge Pluto fan" and dog fan (how can you not be) loved it. As did I. What a sweet lovely picture.

I saw guide dogs waiting near Soarin once. My mother and I went up to speak to the humans with them. We are interested because we support an organization who trains guide dogs for soldiers.

Gina - I showed your picture to everyone in the blind/low vision department, even my current student who has limited periphial (sp?) Vision but is reliant on Braille and uses a cane and even he thought the interaction was so cool! I think my supervisor got a little misty!
