Guide book for kids

Our trip is the end of August. I wanted to get my 11 year old the guide book for kids. I know its probably a waste, but she likes to read, we're on the road 24hours to get there, and she can pick some things to do.

Yet I went to buy it two months ago and the 2014 edition is sold out everywhere I look. Looked again today, nothing. The 2015 edition doesn't come out until September. So am I out of luck? Even older editions are at crazy prices on amazon.

Can anyone point me to someplace that has them still? I am in Canada, so has to be able to ship here reasonably.

Not the answer you were looking for but you might want to at least look at a different book. We have the kid book and it was great for our 7 year old this year, but for an 11 year old, there might be a better choice. Head to a good book store and look through a few different books.
